What about the theory that the red spot is a concealed moon? It was a moon that either descended into Jupiter's gravity pull or a moon was swallowed by the expanding gasses into orbit within the atmosphere's clouds. The winds being blocked by a solid object cause the wind around the swallowed moon to rip it apart sending the red-colored surface rocks and dust spiraling around and down into the core of the surface of Jupiter. The reason the spot is shrinking is that the moon is descending further into the planet or the gasses of Jupiter are expanding which will in one trillion millennia become a star.
@ronhope39703 сағат бұрын
The terrain must be very rough under this atmosphere has an almost convection like property to it with the slow separation of heavier particulates working slowly toward the equator.

5:48 Can somebody explain to me what we see here? I'm confused
@ChrisKerrigan-c6s11 сағат бұрын
The Crescent Jupiter ? I dunno, I was confused as well. I’ve never seen a picture like it. Unless it’s an artists interpretation of a photo taken from behind a moon, with that very moons shadow cast onto Jupiter. I can’t imagine that as being a real photo. Does anybody know what this is ? It’s bloody weird , that’s what it is.
@TheAces197910 сағат бұрын
I've got two things: 1) Sweet screen name, and 2) Obviously what we see here, dear viewer, is Jupiter entering its half phase as it passes into the shadow of its much larger companion moon, Giganticles! Duh! You big dummy!
@Testiculon9 сағат бұрын
My guess is that Jupiter is actaually covered partly by a moon and the lens makes the whole thing a bit crooked. The single black dot is clearly also moons shadow. Jupiter entering its half phase would create a straight edge on the planet, @TheAce1979 look at pics of the moon. It does not look like that at all

Yall, okay... hear me out here. So we all know how Io is basically a generator for Jupiter all because of the magnetic field it generates around it and the moon, right? Why not make a ring around Jupiter, just along the axis of Io aswell, and use that magnetic generation of energy to power an ENTIRE MOTHERSHIP!!!

@ky1ebetts49 минут бұрын
Just watch, we'll soon find out that the Great Red Spot "storm" is caused by a moon or small planet orbiting beneath Jupiter's cloudtops. It's been down there for centuries, having it's surface repeatedly ripped apart by Jupiter's jet streams, which taints her equatorial bands red and brown.

I thought Saturn has the most natural satellites 145 or something..?
@TheRealZombieWizard7 сағат бұрын
Jupiter is a Star that didn’t have enough mass to ignite. If we cooled off our Sun it would look like a giant Jupiter. If we smashed the rest of the ice giants into Jupiter we could technically make a new star but that wouldn’t be good for the balance of our solar system. Jupiter isn’t a planet since there’s no solid ground to land on.

@jennifersaar161115 сағат бұрын
Well, the Mars-sized planet would be too small to hold onto much of an atmosphere, for one. And I would think there'd be some changes to the orbits of the inner planets since the gravitational pull of the replacement planets would be different.

5:28 I’m listening to the multiple unnecessary information regarding the spaceship… why do I need to know who made it in detail , how it was made with multiple numbers. i’m watching this video because I want to know about the planet and it’s moons, and everything else about the planet not about the spaceship! 🤔 it seems like we’re bragging about how well we did with the equipment which was sent by us to the planets. Which is fine - but I can watch that in a separate video! 🤔 Let’s have more information on what the title of the video refers to ! That’s why I’m here. I have heard enough about all the spaceships in other videos. Thank you for not removing my comment❤

Believe it or not, it's a lot easier to explore space than our oceans. There's no atmospheric pressure in space, but the deeper you go in the ocean, the higher the pressure gets. It's insanely difficult to build something that can withstand the crushing pressure of all that water. (Think of the Titan submersible.)

Jupiter's weather is being affected by the approaching gravitational field of a large object in the solar system, which is also having a great affect on Earth.
