Webb teaches us once again that what is needed, always, when it comes to science, is humility. Aristotle, Copernicus, Newton, Einstein, were all brilliant iconoclasts of enlightenment, but those insights we can see were but steps along the path. It is the nature of the human gestalt to want to believe we have found the final answers, when in truth we are merely watching shadows dancing on the back walls of Plato’s cave.

Truth is absolute and it is 100% free from contradiction. The established laws of physics have evolved from elimination of contradiction in order it complies to truth, These laws have provided the very nature of our technology and reality, and I do stress our reality. Our logic based upon this very fact provides us a powerful tool where we can refer to everything via quantification Eg: 100% = EVERYTHING AKA the Universe, this quanta allows us to theorise whether our theory complies to actual reality. The above quanta is our check sum, and for a two or more physical dimensional model, we can define Mass and Energy and the speed of light, as per the familiar simplified equation E=Mc2, and with three dimensions or more other physical realities, but most importantly we have the ability to actually right now rely on a TOE if it were not for the flawed model of particles separated by a void rather than treating the entire Universe as a singular basic constituent being either Mass, Energy or a ratio of those two basic definitions no matter where or when seeing the universe exists rather than stagnate..

END QUOTE I hope this flawed logic is understood and seen for what it is, if not your logic may have been corrupted by a religious influence where contradiction is quite acceptable and in fact contradictions are to be treated as factual rather than fictitious due to childhood religious indoctrination..

Have you heard a thing that some some scientist, astronomers & phycisists say, when they're explaining the huge distances & collosal size of space & the universe, some of them say that 'human brains(even the really smart ones), are just not programmed or equipped to really grasp the distances or understand the true scale of the Universe..' Well, I often think, "what if it's not just distances? What if it's the scale of Everything?" & by everything I mean things like the true complexity of what has-is-and will happen(or happened/happening), or how it works, or why it works, or why? Or what Caused it? I often wonder if, just like humans can't comprehend the real size & scale, maybe we're just not Able, to really grasp any of these answers at all? What if we're smart enough to ask these questions, but haven't discovered we're not smart enough to get the answers? & Then I get depressed because even if we are smart enough to find & understand these things, I realise I likely won't be around when we eventually get the answers to any of them. It could take hundreds of years, maybe thousands for some answers, & I'll get to learn none of them, it sucks really...

These extremely old galaxies that are now being discovered thanks to the great JWST probably do not originate from our current universe; they formed at least 16 billion light years ago and the time calculation (of 13.77 billion years) simply does not add up. It has also been found that these ancient galaxies are very bright and extremely mature. All this suggests that there could not have been a big bang, a singularity or dark ages at the beginning of our cosmos. Or our universe is much older than we previously thought, perhaps 18 to 26 billion years old. However, this is most likely not the case. Therefore, it is more plausible that an earlier universe (predecessor) existed before our current universe, which then reformed (renewed) and manifested itself with its light sources in the depths of the space horizon in the same way as our current universe. If that's the case, we can assume that the entire cosmos functions differently, with no real beginning or end, cyclical, strongly oriented towards evolution (bounce cosmology). I'm absolutely convinced that it didn't start with a big bang, what do YOU think? ✨

Where he mentions16 he indicates the red shift value of that galaxy, not its distance or age. A redshift of 16 means that the wavelength of the light was stretched by a factor of 17, since 1+𝑧=16. This corresponds to a time when the universe was about a billion years old.

Two theories: 1. Agree big bang isn't THE begining but part multiple ongoing bangs and collapses 2. Time itself could have been faster (if we are the observer, and the generation of galaxies then..relative to our time scale happened much faster) ,at the beginning of big bang (relativity 101), and why isn't anyone considering that the constants of our universe as we know it today were not the same then. Change a few constants and everything changes even if the model holds. .. It's really suspicious if the constants are constant and laws of physics themself don't experience a shift.

The current cosmological theory is based on the data that was available at the time. Why should anyone be surprised that new data from far more sophisticated instruments amends the current theories? It's narcissistic to think we already understood the beginnings of the Universe then (or now).

I have calculated that our universe is over 300 trillion years old. There is a horizon beyond which we will not be able to see. That doesn't mean its' a huge explosion there (and everywhere). It just means there's a horizon.

Where do our memories go when we die. And if there is light at the end of the tunnel, where does it lead to. (. SO many questions. ). Do we really need to know everything. And if we did know everything, WHAT NEXT 😮. 🙏🤔

Cosmology is observational science without experiments. The interpretation of those observations is subject to a runaway scientists’ imagination which seems to be always wrong.

It bothers me so much we give degrees to some here and people like Tyson who say "found things that shouldn't exist". Only a fool thinks they know the great complexity of our possibly infinite cosmos. These people need humbling and to remember most of what we know is still theory only. We are likely to never know everything and to try is to pursue madness.
