When late night TV was entertaining

James always seemed much better when he did his show from radio aire in Leeds, sadly no more, radio aire is no more either but the building is still there, walking past those studios, all the marvellous late night tv that came from there, the same can be said for the house that the big breakfast came from, memories last forever

Brian C. Williams seemed like he was a really sweet guy. I loved that harmonica tune he played at the beginning. I recognise the tune. Sounds Brazilian. Unfortunately, I have to comment on the general unpleasantness of Bamigboye (at the time). This was not the first show where he had made unnecessary remarks implying that he had a large schlong. Who cares? It's also not the first show where he had made digs at "white people". I'm surprised James never confronted him about it. He seemed perfectly fine with mocking other people (Jerry, for example...who probably deserved it) but seemed to get incredibly aggro and defensive when on the pointy edge of criticism or banter. He didn't seem to be particularly credible in his field of expertise either. I enjoyed Gary Jacobs, wasn't especially keen on Jerry Hayes (who looked like Robert Englund in a Harpo Marx wig, with the demeanour of an awkward only-child that continually, and openly, second-guessed his every word or move as if trying to appease his monitoring, authoritarian parents whom were ever-ready to punish him with a bloody good smack for the slightest infraction of their code of manners, if for any real reason at all. I expect the conditions would change daily so that Jerry would never really know what would anger them, in effect creating a nervous, and easily intimidated fellow whose sense of excitement and curiosity was easily shut-down) but find Bamigboye to have been a racist sleaze (he seemed to project an entitlement to Kooki on a few occasions). Hopefully he is not as unpleasant these days. 44:42: Unacceptable scumbag.
