I'm impressed with the trackervside of things but for me the weak point remains the police. Frankly they don't give a shit about bike theft and I have no confidence in them giving any priority to reports of a theft. My experience is they don't want to know even if you know exactly who has nicked your bike and can prove it. Now if Biketrac were also advertsing their own private security operatives to secure the return of the bike, if necessary with force, I'd be sold. Whilstever plod are involved it's a flawed product for me.

James is right. If they want it they will have it. I had a tracker fitted to my KTM 450 SM last year June. The bike was stolen from my property in July and has never been found.

They know where the tracker is and they remove it as soon as the nick the bike.

I swear by scorpion datatool however it makes no difference to your insurance quotes I tried a few times .they're not fully up to scratch with trackers and their potential and they still insisted I put thatcham alarms on them
