Omg thank you for showing your “Wool and the Gang” - I’d bought some a few years ago and the other day I went to buy more but had forgotten what they were called … I’m in Australia but loved them so much so again thank you and typically if you are referring to a fibre that’s not wool you would call it yarn so cotton yarn but you can still use the term cotton wool as wool has become more universal term for yarn… I crochet but love your blanket and can’t wait to see more - I can’t knit for the life of me but love watching ❤😊

Soooo happy you're backkk!! also, as a wool allergy girlie, unfortunately, no amount of washing will get rid of the lanolin (the bit you're allergic to) which is the worst. Might be worth re-making in acrylic. I'm a fibre crafts gal and I find I only can use acrylic or cotton, for a cardi, I would recommend an acrylic, unless you can guarantee you're not allergic :)

Unfortunately I think she's said before she can only cope with a certain percentage of acrylic on her skin too:( I have the same issue with wool and acrylic, seems impossible to find chunky jumpers! I usually buy chenille jumpers as they're nice and soft!

@@Smooxox1 that's a shame, issue with cotton is it's often a bit on the rougher side unless it's mixed with other fibers (chenille being something that has cotton and acrylic) She mentions about other types of fibres, but for me I'm allergic to any animal product fibre by the seems of things, so I hope she's careful and doesn't get the reaction!

About the jumper, i would advise you to take merino wool or alpacas wool , because it won't be itchy. Sheeps wool is itchy all the time but it's warm, it's not allergy.
