Carys, I think a lot of girls would agree with me on this but I would absolutely love and appreciate a podcast from you, talking about self-love, positivity etc. whenever you do those mini speeches it honestly lifts my spirits and reminds me how important it is to love yourself!! You’ve taught me so much 🫶🏼

Can’t believe you’re moving. All the work you have done. The gym, your beautiful wall in the garden and all your lovely rooms. The new house must be pretty special. Will this be your home for life do you think? Exciting times ahead xx

I saw a post recently that reiterates what you said about asking the children their opinions on things, the post was about saying to your child "you should be really proud of yourself" instead of just saying "I'm so proud of you". I've been doing it for a while with my son and his confidence has grown so much because he's now getting the validation of his achievements from himself and not just from the opinions of others. Its amazing ❤️

I love this!! Definitely something I will start doing, don’t think we ever think it through as people always say ‘I’m so proud of you’ I think if you say it always add in they should be proud of yourself too at least! Loveee this idea of saying it instead 🥰
@shannonleech8952

100% it really does make such a difference, when you think about it.. how often do we actually feel proud of ourselves? Sometimes just getting through the day is an achievement in itself and if you can feel pride for yourself in those small moments then life must feel so much more wholesome rather than only feeling pride over the big achievements xx

One simple switch you can do that ties in to what James was saying about wanting to make yourself proud, not just other people, is instead of saying ‘I’m so proud of you’, saying ‘you should be so proud of yourself’. I’m a coach and make sure I do this all the time with adults but the actual psychology behind it was geared towards kids (it just works for everyone haha!) 💛
@Cleanslatetoday

“Hi guys”, I absolutely love when Amber says that. I grew up as the youngest of the family and no one asking me anything but being told what to do how to do it, as an adult I couldn’t verbalize my feelings. So I’m so proud of you both that you’re wanting to check in with your kids. It’s so important. Love you guys. As far as starting a podcast, I love the idea but I absolutely love seeing your kids in the vlogs. I’ll miss them.

I love you guys so much!! Fingers crossed for the new house, I know how uncertain times are at the minute so I hope all goes well! On the podcast topic I honestly think you cover enough in your weekly uploads and you may find yourself repeating things, I’d be interested to listen to a different angle of your lives but feel a self love/q&a podcast is covered enough on YT! ❤️

Don’t get me wrong I’m excited for you and if it all goes through il watch all the videos of doing the next house up, but aren’t you guys a bit gutted to have put all that effort into this house and now have to do it again? It’s so lovely haha I’m far too sentimental if it was mine I couldn’t leave it behind! Xx

On the potty training, just don’t push it. That’s the only advice I have! When they’re ready then they’ll nail it pretty quickly. My 2 year old was potty trained in 2 days, because she was ready, we’d tried it a few weeks earlier and she wasn’t ready and had accidents, didn’t like using the potty out, etc. But we waited and it was so not stressful, for us and her xxx

Yes to the duvet tucking Carys! I'm not the only one that does the strange flap to get it tucked in right. I do it less as i've got older but find i do it when in a particularly anxious or overthinking phase for comfort. I absolutely can't do socks in bed, never have been able too. I prefer to be barefoot all day long if possible though so maybe i'm just odd 😂

Toilet training - my little girl is about a week or 2 younger than Amber! She fully toilet trained in just under 2 weeks, I started making her wear knickers to feel the wetness and dirtiness and she soon didn’t like the feel of it so she became aware of the sensations to go! She started off with nothing on but being outside in and out of the pool, she started wanting to go into the pool just to wee🤣 so I took that away to focus on her toileting went cold turkey with nappies apart from her nap and sleep time. She went to nursery day 6 of potty training and had 1 little accident, day 7 same again and since then no accidents😊

Why am I tearing up as you’re both talking about the birth of Mabel 🥺 Carys you are so lovely in the way you say things. I think it’s so important to say you loved the birth but it was also really hard. I’m sure lots of people will relate to all of those complicated feelings. Also, even though it was hard look at you now! It just shows as humans we can go through really difficult things but we come out the other side. It was also heart warming hearing James’ perspective. You are such a lush couple ❤️

Find your next home that’s in a great school district that you can see yourself living in until the kids get older. It’s hard to change houses and change schools for kids so if you find a Home have it in a great school district that you know y’all stay there for their time in school.
