You both are wonderful teachers and I am getting more interested in the techniques that you’re showing. When the virus is over we will come to Bath to visit and have a private lesson. Thank you again!

Brilliant. Haven't danced this figure before - we watched your video and danced it (with a few wobbles)!! You are excellent teachers. Thank you very much for helping us dance and forget our woes.

Thank you for your excellent descriptive and clear breakdown of dances and steps that you have provided. I have used many of your tutorials to improve my footwork and learn new Sequence/New Vogue dances. When the time is right it would be great to see new videos posted to extend your fantastic repertoire.

Very well explained and beautiful to watch. Easier watched than done lol. We have work to do with maintaining right side contact as well as looking left throughout. We come apart at counts 2 & 3 and at completion our right sides have drifted inward somewhat. But oh what fun we're having and we're confident of improvement. Thank you and best wishes for 2021.

Just lightly hold your partner's hipline as you go through the figure to realise where you need to position yourselves relative to each other. Once you feel how much movement and rotation you need, then try to achieve that without any hold, maintaining that right side front position throughout. Then try with your top line undisturbed and see if it has helped. All good wishes, and keep enjoying your dancing, James & Joanna

When I was taught the Double Reverse Spin, I thought the lady does the cross syncopatedly on "3 and" while the man does only one step. But I was taught wrong. The lady syncopates the cross on "2 and". Thanks.

At a good level you can dance either so don't worry too much. If you don't split count three as '3&' it gives a deceleration of rotation. If you were dancing say an overspin ending then you might more often choose '2&' specifically to be able to split '3&' for the overspin step itself. As long as you understand and use them clearly you can master it both ways to good effect.
