Great video. Very informative. I wonder if maybe the crocs didn't attack right off because they were trying to warm up in the sun. Then it was too late once they got their body temperature evened out. Lucky for the wildebeests...except for, you know, the ones who drowned from exhaustion. ):

It is the Mara River, between Kenya and Tanzania. Out of 1.5 million wildebeests that cross, a few hundreds of them are bound to die. Some of them drown. Some of them get eaten by crocodiles. Their flesh participate in the river's ecosystem, feeding fish, which in turn feed crocodiles and birds. The circle of nature.

On the bright side, the wildebeest that die in the river end up feeding an entire ecosystem of fish and crocodiles, so they don't go to waste. If they didn't die in the river, they would get killed by predators on land anyway.

Animal migration has been shown to be affected by the changing magnetosphere of the sun. With the sun beginning micronova, it is logical that the cues used by birds and other animals to migrate are fundamental to their survival and population density. More details in my 2nd book, “Surviving the Micronova: This Train Is on the Tracks. The story of the trail that led to my discovery of the science is outlined in my 1st book, "Dancing a Quantum Dream."

it's not an optical elusions as you've said, you can't fool me, i can see the animals afraid of you because you are blocking their exit. you can't justify your sadistic pleasure. i have seen a lot of videos of your kind(sadistic) happy watching and filming animal stampede blocking the route by your cars.

To their defense, panic and crowd movement is not just for wildebeest.

Hi James, My name is Jo and I work for a TV company called Raw TV. We are making the second episode of a Channel 4 weather documentary. I really like this clip of the Wildebeest migration and I wanted to ask about using it in our programme. Our film is going to be completed soon but we would love this clip to feature in it so hope to hear from you. Please get in touch when you see this message and I can give you all the information you need. You can email jo.prichard@raw.co.uk or reach me on 0207 456 0800 in the office, I look forward to speaking soon. Best wishes, Jo

The ecosystem of the Mara River has been studied extensively and how the wildebeest dying during the migration impact he food supply of fish and crocs and how, in turns, these fit in the circle of life.

I hate tourists! Why do you do that? Wildebeests don't know what to do of you are there 🤬

If there were no tourists, there would be no national park and it would all have been turned into farmland.

@@JamesandLaurent I'm not referring to that, I just say that humans are so stupid that cannot realize they're bothering and in most cases they originate tragedies with animals because they get scared and chose the worst parts to cross the river.
