Small town close to Duluth. Part of it's an Indian Reservation. It was known for logging. Not sure if it still is. Great view of the area and river. Thanks James! 👍😁

lyn - born and raised ( 1950 ) in Cloquet . It's motto is " the city of wood industries " . Logging , per se , is'nt done so much , but when I grew up they had : Conwed - wood products ( fibreboard , etc . ) Diamond Match ( matches - huh ) Weyerhauser Box and Corrogated Northwestern Paper ( now owned by a Japanese firm ) And a coupla other smaller concerns . Not bad for a town of 10000 , or so ( at that time ) Living in GA now for almost half my life . Miss Cloquet the most in the autumn and through Christmas and New years . Used to go out to my grandparents farm - hitch up a horse to a sled ( sleigh ) and make a day of cuttin' our own Christmas tree . Listrn to me - and I never used to get homesick ... Darn drones .

my parents spent their wedding night at the Solem Hotel 1947..My aunt and uncle had Sunnyside Gifts and Sunnyside Plumbing up next to Gordy's. I think Gordy bought their property when they moved to Ann Circle...

Beautiful fall day so many trees 🌳 I'm at Sioux city Iowa and the leaves are everywhere looking like a mess surprised that's not the case here

I saw so many varying patterns with the leaves this year. I could not predict where to be or when for best colors. Luckily I filmed enough regions and enough altitudes to get some good views to some😎

I see you have a DJI drone (recognized the controller). Neat video but you missed probably one of the most important landmarks in Cloquet and that is the only gas station designed by Frank Lloyd Wright on the corner of Hwy 33 and Cloquet Avenue.

Born and raised in Cloquet .( 1950 ) Worked for Musicland ( in Mankato ) from 1971 until 1980 . Hope your project worked out ( or is working out ) . Would love to see it .
