I am a retired RCMP Officer living in a rural setting in Nova Scotia, Canada. I spend my time enjoying nature and feeding my furry friends, the raccoons. I also feed the deer in the winter months and many varieties of birds. I have two rescue cats named Connor and Charlotte.

Racoons like cat food too. I found that out because i feed stray cats. The cat food also attracts the sweet opposums and sweet racoons

I started feeding feral cats and it has grown to include raccoons, a fox, two possums who ended up wintering in our shop. My husband wasn’t sure about what I was doing until he was able to see the animals himself. Now we watch our animals eating every night instead of tv. He’s even started bringing home lots of different foods he thinks “our friends” would like. The joy on his face brightens my life and the beautiful diners make me so happy.

I had a painful procedure today, due to disc “disease” (aka gravity). It should NOT have been so painful; I’ve had it done before. Just sayin, so much depends on the dr. And we here in USA are about to find out how we’ll get hit with hospital bills, when we don’t set foot in a hospital. Hospitals *will*, not might, charge us for doctors “affiliated “ with hospitals . So, doctors who have offices on hospital property, I guess.
