So much respect for plouise including different shades in the face makeup days!! Most companies opt for one light-medium shade to put in stuff like this. Plouise did an excellent job including a shade range. That contour/bronzing pallete tho?! I was BLOWN AWAY by her advent calendar. There is no doubt you get your moneys worth.

Idk if anyone has mentioned this already, but P.Louise included shades for EVERYONE. As a melanated person an advent calendar is never an actual possible buy. All the product shades are for certain skin tones. I would buy the P.Louise calendar in a heartbeat ❤❤❤

Yes, because when you only open one box a day, at least you can have some fun looking for it and then wait for the next day. And James is pissed that he has to search because he wants to open them all as fast as possible. But that's not the point of an advent calendar, so I think days not being in order is a really cool thing.

there’s a woman on youtube called cherry and she did a long video unboxing the plouise train and everything is SO good. i really feel like if you’re the kinda consumer who buys a bunch of new makeup once a year, you HAVE to get the train. it’s such a cute display piece that isn’t christmas-themed, so it can stay up. and the products are insane.

im definitely the type of person who doesn't really buy new makeup regularly, but if I had the money I would totally save up and invest in the plouise advent calendar. it would literally supply me with a whole makeup routine plus more. And it would last so long unlike the benefit one where you could literally go through all those mini products within a month or so.

I love you, James... however, I found it so funny whenever you criticized the brands for having the boxes out of order! That is how it's supposed to be... The boxes in the advent calendar are out of order, adding a scavenger hunt, fun, and excitement to opening box after box each day. Most people prefer this because of those reasons. But love you so much. This was not a criticism of you. I don't want the brands to feel hurt because of something they are doing correctly!
