Gonna say it . Before i even finish the vid . Your the UK BFS pioneer mate . Leading the way for the UK BFS masses . Go down to 3lb fluorocarbon . Maybe even 2lb fluorocarbon . If anyone can do it , its perch Jesus !!! Ive caught 3lb perch on 1.3lb hooklengths while feeder fishing . How low can it be done ??? PERCH JESUS !!! JESUS !!! JESUS !!! I ll get back to the rest of the vid now . Lol .

@@JamesForrester 1.5 kg (3.3lb) braid with a 6lb leader (in case of a Yellowbelly, an Australian native) is my go to perch rig. Good fun when you get a carp of something a little bigger. :)

Daiwa 5.9 metre
@JamesForrester4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I'm getting another daiwa 5.9m once you use a net that length you will never go back. I can fish anywhere with it because of the length!

Nice video, just a quick question do you use any thinner or thicker fluorocarbon trace while fishing with this main 4lb fluoro? I always fishing braid and decided to give a go for fluorocarbon as a main line, so what you doing in places where pike activity is really high ? :D
@tmzzlo4 жыл бұрын
@@JamesForrester today had first fishing with fluorocarbon as a main line and it was damn crazy day:D caught 16lb, 11lb,13lb pike and pb perch at 3lb15oz and allso plenty of smaller jacks and smaller perch close to 2lb :D so fluorocarbon as a main line really worth it :D. Thanks bro for your answer, and keep doing nice movies with my favorite fish perch :D

Nice fish. I love hitting the perch with soft plastics. Winter can be slow, and like you, I go to a smaller profile shad, or wriggle tail grub, and fish it very slow and low. Great demonstration of some proven perch techniques mate. Just for the record, I am in Australia, so they act the same where ever they end up :)

Nice fishing. It's neat to see how you guys do things across the pond over there. I am a BFS fanatic here in the North eastern US. I would love to see the BFS kit when it comes out. I have 2 Tsurinoya xf-50s with the lighter spirit fox spools in them, as well as a Scorpion BFS xg, Abu Garcia ALC BF7, fishband gh100, and some other ones.

Is this the Steez ct with the Ali Spool?
@JamesForrester4 жыл бұрын
I have the steez type a the bigger one. But they do the spool for both the type a and ct. The ct spool is actually 0.5g lighter so will preform even better than this one!
