Don't have an ISI whipper but now got a automatic milk frother that does both hot and cold, love teh cold coffee idea.

One thing I want to try for things like this, but maybe for just adding to cocktails, is making a caramelized sugar syrup. This doesn't need to the color, but I bet the flavor instead of a not burnt-ish sugar syrup would be fun.

It would have taken a longer if you left the curd in, maybe would be more clear too? Amaro latte with a milk washed spirit is pretty amusing to me! Secret milk and obvious milk!

Would have been more clear, but for this we’re going for flavor not clarity, so it’s fine. And yes lots of milk in the end!

sometimes scales don't work properly if you grate directly onto it because the change is so fine and gradual. might be the cause of your nutmeg issue

I've always been curious what people do with the empty ISI canisters. Do you take them to a recycling center, or what?

I don't think they are recyclable. I just trash them. which is painful every time.

@@UnclePete The FAQ on the ISI website says they can be "recycled with your steel waste" as if that is a normal thing that everyone knows how to deal with.

You should definitely just say "the iSi" instead of "the iSi Whipper", because there are no other cream whippers on the market, so saying "Whipper" after "the iSi" seems obsolete. (I hope I haven't mixed everything up)

I've experimented wth clarifying coffee before - most black coffee is plenty acidic enough to curdle milk on its own.
