Never heard the Jimmy Page - Herman’s Hermits relationship before, that’s really cool to know, you learn so much here. Great tune. Thanks!

This song appeared in my mix as I am looking over both semi hollow and full hollow body "HH" and P90 pickup type guitars. I only "play" acoustic at the time but I am working on it.

I really appreciate your willingness to share so many great Pop/Rock & Soul guitar driven songs for the rest of the world to learn. You have a perfect and accurate ear. There are some of these that no sheet music exist?

I'm totally self-taught and I play by ear. I don't read music or tabs, so I don't know much about sheet music!

The Buddy Holly influence very apparent. The guitar appears to be a Gretsch County Gentlemen or Classic (former play by George Harrison in early Beatles days) that has that characteristic twang.

Have one question James. Are there any songs that have been recorded in the last 40 years you don't know? Your catalog of songs is nothing less than amazing. Thanks for all the great info you share.

the strumming guitar solo is similar to the solo on 'peggy sue' by buddy holly.

For the intro to Mrs Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter, are they using a guitar? It sounds like a banjo to me.
@jamesjames92755 жыл бұрын
It's a guitar with muted strings.
