Your tutorials are genuinely the best on KZbin! So detailed and specific about brush size, opacity! And the best part is you don’t promote any personalised brushes! Sometimes when I watch other videos they highly incentivise their brushes which kinda makes me feel that I’m the one at fault and my skills won’t improve without getting the brush pack! I tried the landscape in the jar artwork and it turned out soooo amazingggg! I can’t thank you enough :)

Thanks James, my tree looked weird, but I'm glad I gave it a go, another unique tutorial, I am enjoying these different ones over the last couple of weeks

Yeah wasn’t completely happy with mine either lol might have been better with the rainforest brush in the end!

When I painted with the aurora brush using the same colour as that for the leaves, I couldn’t see any difference. The areas painted using the aurora brush didn’t pop the way they do on your painting. What am I doing wrong?

This is beautiful and I love how you've broken out of your normal doing different art styles. Your landscapes are beautiful and its refreshing to see these new styles which we know you're capable of doing, but just not showing us over the years. 😁

Hi from India! I love all your videos. I'm a beginner, and I just want to ask, can I use Procreate on all Apple iPads? I'm planning to buy one from the basic range.

Have you done a video on the color profiles within procreate? I don’t know the difference between them, maybe you could explain?

I don’t know the difference either lol. I only state it because the colours might be slightly different I believe if we aren’t using the same profile as each other!

There’s a point in the video where you change your color but you don’t tell us what color to use so I had to guess what color but it doesn’t look right
@GryphonRonas Жыл бұрын
It looks nice and all, but I really hope this channel isn't going to go all 'illustration-y". I used to follow another but she went hard into that so I ended up switching to James' Patreon instead because I like things that look like paintings. Giving this one a pass.
@JamesJulier-Artist Жыл бұрын
It’s just one video, I intend to add variety that I think my content has lacked, but if you mean things that look real? Then I’ve definitely not given up on that. I just might make some images more surreal and occasionally stylised like this too. I think a lot of people have written me off as just a landscape painter or gotten bored after doing a handful of my tutorials plus it has become less fun for me. I have SO many traditional looking landscapes already up here on my channel, but if I can switch things up a little more I think it’s a good thing. By sticking to the same kind of tutorials week after week it seems thousands of viewers have already given me a pass, so what am I to do? 🤷♂️
