very nice video indeed , you've helpe.d me greatly to learn the procreate app as long as the brush uses , wich started i started to apply to my own drawing . i've folowed and drawn along with you in many videos and i was quite happy to see the end result even if i myself enjoy the procces more than the final image . thank you for inspiring us every time to keep up with what we all artists love to do :)))). i've been drawing on paper and canvas before i switched to Procreate a little over a month ago.

At 22:17 and 23:47 mind explaining more in detail what do you do with your hand movement to give the clouds effects? When I do it, it doesn’t give the smooth transition of a cloud and it’s mostly looks like lines instead of a cloud texture (sorry idk how to explain it 😅). What do you do?

Hi!! I need help with this tutorial. At 19 minutes in when you start selecting the centre of the door and then going to the layer below to clear it, it just makes everything on that layer disapear but it doesn't for you? Im not sure what to do. I'm new to procreate and loving your videos! This is the first problem ive had so far

How is your pencil holding up? You switched the tip? As a student I think I will buy that but don’t wanna change the tip of the pencil every 2-3 months

Hi. I have a question. At around 25 minutes, when you apply that blue sky color, I used the very same swatches and got more of dark grey color. I tried to screenshot your swatches and picked last color in the third row and it showe 99bfdd instead of 718a8a. Am I doing something wrong, or it's just that youtube oversaturizes the painting? Is your sky actualy grey or more light blue?
@JamesJulier-Artist Жыл бұрын
The image shown at the end as a still is more accurate, the iPad on camera throws off the colour often

@@JamesJulier-ArtistThanks! I'll keep that in mind. I thought that I've missed some settings.

I was working on this tutorial and imported the palette to Procreate. I noticed your first blue, middle row was not the same as mine, so I looked at your codes listed on patreon. When I click on the colors in the palette, the hex numbers from every color in the palette do not match any of the codes in the tutorial. Do they not match, or is it a setting or something i need to check in Procreate? I'm still fairly new to the app.
@JamesJulier-Artist Жыл бұрын
The camera throws the colours a bit, but also check you are setting the colour profile within canvas settings to the sRGB code that ends in 2.1
