I’ve been trying to understand how to paint a snowy mountain for so long. Most artists just use a palette knife and when I try that it always looks like a giant blob. Thank you for showing how to add the tiny details step by step and using different colors. Even though I’ve never touched procreate, this is helping me understand how to paint better.

that's amazing, when you watch the tutorial the whole drawing makes sense, it's almost "easy and logical" when you see the different step however when you compare what we started with with the end result it's a complete difference. it's awesome i love it

I have redone my trees twice now lol but just be sure to follow his instructions and put them on a different layer and keep trying! Digital art is so different yet so similar to typical art forms. You have to practice and figure out what pleases your eye 😊 you got this!

Hey man I just want to say thank you. I’ve drawn a lot of sketches on paper never did a landscape. First day on an iPad/ digital drawing and spend the last four hours trying to paint using your tips. I put the trees a little low so the reflection for me is off. I’ll probably go back to the layers and try to move the trees up. Either way it looks amazing! Huge thanks I appreciate your tutorial and you helped me find my confidence/ courage to draw outside of my comfort zone. Words can’t express how grateful I am. Honestly, thank you! This really helped me grow! I love this one. Especially how it followed the basic tree tutorial. Thank you! Do you ever mix brushes with the HB if you were going for more detail on the trees or do you just stick to the HB for sketching and the airbrush for painting? Loved the use of the turpentine for streaks in the water. I've tried liquify but it didn't look right. This tip was top notch. Love your work

Hey James! Awesome work! Yea I agree with you on the time. Most of my work tends to be in the 40-50 hr. range when it’s a big project. I do get a lot of people telling me that I take to long on drawing but it takes me long because I like paying attention to detail as much as I can. Plus it’s also a slight learning process for me. I just want to say to anyone watching this: Don't be afraid to use different artistic brushes! I know he mainly uses the soft air brushes in this video, which is fine! If that's the way you want to do it, go for it. But definitely don't be afraid to try new techniques to get a texture or look the way you like it, probably in a faster pace as well! Edit: Also, if you want your stokes to be more seamless/blended, use the smudge tool so you don’t see those brush marks :)

Adding A Bit of Snow On The edges Of trees Will make it Even Realistic. Otherwise Great Art Great..

This is not necessarily a Winter scene. The snow is on the higher levels of the mountains in the background - so placing snow on the trees would not add realism to a scene that could well have been painted during the summer months.
