Watching my daughter at 5 years old dig garden worms to hand feed her rooster, who fed his hens, was amazing. At 6 I let the chickens into the garden and we had so much fun that year harvesting. She would collect eggs and get peas and lettuce and radishes. We had salads daily. We gave a lot of our harvest to our family. Buckets of snap peas. I canned pickles that year too. She could barely wait till they were ready. I had so much squash I pickled them too, and she possibly ate 95% of what I pickled by herself. The kids roasted sunflower seeds, and they never even made it to a package. They literally would go out to the horse shed and pull down flower heads to roast and then eat them all. I had braided onions out there all winter too. Think I filled half the lean in freezer in beans, squash and peas.

Hey James, love seeing Tuck! So glad to hear you say you're making jelly. Jelly, perseveres and chutneys are so easy to start your canning portfolio.

You have a lot of variety of vegetables. Your introduction says you're in NJ. You're so lucky that you can grow your own fruits and veggies. I can't even grow tomatoes afraid of the neighbors to steal everything

Amazing garden. I can’t wait until my food forest catches up. My pup is following in Tuck’s paw prints, she is the best pea and kale harvester.

I love to watch you in the food forest. The passion and hard work will never get old for me. That goes for you too James. Also, whoever is behind the camera does a super job! One thing I am wondering about is how you deal with the brown marmorated stink bug? Thanks Tuck and you too James/ and camera person.

Hello, I would like to know if you have a video on how you keep up with and plan all of this? Like do you use an excel spreadsheet, what’s your process? Thanks in advance

Just recently starting to get a taste of what you experience in these harvesting videos. It's so exciting, fulfilling and delicious. I have never appreciated my food more than I do from my own organic garden. ❤😊
