James, you are blessed with a beautiful family !! I wanted to mention to you about the glue you chose for your pipe. Just so you know for the future. You are supposed to use gray glue for sch 80 pipe. It gets a lot hotter to bond the pipe. Your pipe is NOT under pressure so you should be fine. Just thought I would mention it. Looking good 👊

@JamesTHEKOIwhisperer1233 жыл бұрын

@robeng22673 жыл бұрын
Great job James, the gas pipe ideally needs to come through the wall but make sure it's sleeved when it enters the wall ( by that I mean yous a bigger pipe on the outer ,copper or plastic I.e if your using 22mm copper then yous 28mm copper but you'll only need the depth of the filter house wall to make sure its protected against corrosion etc.. 👍
@robeng22673 жыл бұрын
Also James maybe cheaper and alot easier to clip gas pipe along the back wall rather than digging again

You work a lot more accurate than most builders I know, proper mate. Make sure that gas pipe is sleeved as it comes through your house . Are you using coated malleable copper underground? What kind of pipe and fittings are those? Do you not have to glue those? I'm referring to the Orange Pipes. I assume they are Drain Only. But I can't wrap my Head around a push fit being sufeccient with the amount of Pressure from the Water Volume. I've just never seen that type of Pipe here in The US. Looks Great Though. Can't wait to see the end result

You do realise you've probably saved your conservatory from sinking in the future if you continued with old pond for like ten years all that would have also flooded .now dont think your back garden would ever flood even if you had a river at end of garden. one electric pumped drain thing then another with sediment catcher befor massive soak away (not sure I got all that right).you couldn't flood your garden for a million pounds now mate
