Hi James, love the channel. Was fantastic meeting you the weekend at the show with my little man. Just an idea you could run a trace heating cable around your water pipe and then you definitely have no risk of it freezing.

All the grow-on fish look fantastic . I do like the big Tancho , though ! Are you planning to transfer some of them to the main pond , when they get bigger ?
@JamesTHEKOIwhisperer123Ай бұрын

Hi James, love the video! but putting soil round the bottom of the stem of the tree runs a risk of killing the tree (I’m a tree surgeon so I know a fair bit about trees)

James , just a possibility, could the heat in water of grow on pond be helping with maturing the media. You also said it yourself while adding bacteria . You use warm water and leave for 10 minutes to activate it
@JamesTHEKOIwhisperer123Ай бұрын
Could well be mate

Hi James all of your fish are stunning in both ponds but the fish I like most in the grow on pond has to be the Goshiki absolutely beautiful fish 👍

Hey J do you think you can drop one or 2 of the mountain tree sticks into the plastic media to build up bacteria just add them slowly and thought it might be a winner
@JamesTHEKOIwhisperer123Ай бұрын
I did think about that but thinking the plastic stuff might bag into it might not be a problem but I don’t no tbh it’s a great plan though
