Can you help me on motorway last night a car was following so close in slow lane i could not see i moved out and went forward but they followed me i could not get away from them :( am traumatised and dont want to drive at night again can u give me some advice

@lynn birt Welcome to the world of driving were there are idiots on the road. There should be an anti-dazzle button on your interior mirror which will reduce the glare of other cars headlights. You don't need to be traumatized though, there was no collision was there?

+lynn birt sorry to hear what happened. As mentioned by Collins LFC there is an anti glare on the rear view mirror, which will help. I couple of tips for night driving: Keep your doors locked Let friends know when you are setting off Don’t pull over to help people Keep a pen and paper so you can make a note of reg plate to report to police. If the other driver was tailgating you, then that’s wrong. A dash cam could also be of help. Try not to let this put you off driving in the dark.

Why don’t you add a little icon on the top right or left of the screen to indicate what gear you are currently in so we all have a insight of when to change gear at certain moments? Just a suggestion

I'm so nervous for my test on Thursday I just feel so sick I've cancelled my test so many times because of my nerves, and I really want to cancel this one but I think it's to late to get the £60 back. I don't know what I'm nervous about I've done everything but It's really strange because I'm not nervous whilst driving I'm nervous when I think about driving and the test 😭 my test is at 7am on a half term so I'm thinking it won't be that busy 😭

Learn-to-drive Travis I passed first time !!!! Thank you for the videos it really helped me calm down. Honestly it was so easy it’s literally what I’ve been doing in my lessons which is... Driving! I don’t know why I was nervous it’s honestly not as bad as I thought the examiner was so lovely and it went so quick!!

Hi James. I just had my lesson. I was going up a steep hill and he told me to keep it in 3rd but on the dashboard the gear instrument panel light came on to change up and I was changing to 4th. He said don't go to 4th. I couldn't understand why at the time. Can you do a video on that please?

+Phil Richmond could be a future video. But to help you understand the reasons: Next time ask your instructor why you shouldn’t to get him to explain. What you have to do is picture this, you are riding a bicycle along a flat road and doing ok, as you reach a hill you press the pedal harder to try a maintain or improve your speed. At that point would you move to a higher gear to make it easier to go faster and if you did would you struggle to push the pedals. Answer is probably if you did do up to a higher gear the bike and yourself would struggle to maintain the speed. The same situation happened with the car. The computer on your dashboard is asking you to go up gear because of the speed you are going at and the gear you are in. But if you did, the car would struggle and then the cars computer would ask you to go down a gear. Your instructor probably knew this because of his/her driving experience but maybe did not explain it. Hope that makes sense.
