I tried Glow Recipe products after watching your videos and they were the ONLY products that cleared my hormonal acne after HUNDREDS of dollars spent on other products recommended by aesthetic nurses and estheticians. After 8 months of trying to clear my acne at 30 years old, Glow Recipe completely cleared my skin in four days. The watermelon toner, strawberry serum, and dew drops are my ride or dies but I love everything else I’ve tried including the watermelon moisturizer, avocado serum, guava serum, and spf. No offense, but if a product that doesn’t affect your hormones clears your “hormonal” acne in 4 days, then it either wasn’t the products or it wasn’t hormonal acne. I’m glad you found something that worked, and all types of acne can be so frustrating to deal with, but it’s just as frustrating to waste hundreds of dollars on products like these because you hear stories of people clearing their “hormonal” acne with them. The only things that help true hormonal acne are medications like spiro, tret, and accutane, and time. I could be wrong and these could be miracle products, and maybe there’s something in them that interacted your specific chemistry to produce amazing results, but I don’t want anyone to run out and spend a bunch of money on products that most likely aren’t going to do a thing for their hormonal acne.

I dont think it would be harmful to young skin compared to other actives such as AHA, BHA and other things. However, I’m not a professional!

I don't use this brand but I really like the packaging and design of their products. It's minimal without being boring and aesthetically interesting without being overpowering. Everything looks sweet and edible too, which I'm a huge sucker for.

For some reason I used to think that Glow Recipe would irritate my skin, so I avoided them for a long time.. but recently I saw they had the guava kit with full size gauva vitamin c serum on sale and I bought it. I love love love that serum and I’ve started using more products from them. I have fallen in love with everything they have. On a side note, as an artist I can’t help but deeply appreciate what they have done with the bottle design, so beautiful. Love them and love you for your honest reviews. ❤

The cleansing balm is a must-have for me! I love it so much more than any other one I've used. The smell is pleasant and not overpowering and the texture is lovely. For me, I don't even have to emulsify it for it to take off my makeup, which I prefer. I wipe it off with a wet facecloth and then use a second cleanse. Love. It.

I ADORE Glow Recipe and I've owned & tried the vast majority of their products. I've never found a brand that has so many products that I truly enjoy using. The way the products apply and play well together, the textures, the scents, the experience, etc. There's just something about the brand that clicks with me. Now, here's the bad news... I can't really use the brand anymore. Other than one product. 😭 I really started using actives more regularly when I got into Glow Recipe, and after a short time, I started to realize that my skin was really suffering. So I had to figure out why... I removed the AHA's, PHA's, BHA's, Vitamin C, and Retinol. The obvious culprits. (I did find that my dry/sensitive skin is sensitive to ALL of those ingredients, & I found that I can only use them very rarely.) But even after removing those ingredients, my skin was still looking REALLY BAD. I couldn't figure it out... I couldn't figure it out, because the ingredient to blame is basically never spoken ill of in the skincare community. So after quite some time, I realized that I'm basically allergic/highly sensitive to Niacinamide, which, unfortunately, is in almost all of Glow Recipe's products. 😞 That revelation was hard to take. But as soon as I removed Niacinamide (along with the other ingredients listed above), my skin started healing. So I basically have a cabinet full of 12 Glow Recipe products that I cannot use. Some I can use maybe once a month, but usually much less often than that. So I use their Banana Souffle Cream, which seems to be the only product truly designed for dry and/or sensitive skin in mind. (Even the Plum Plump products aren't designed with dry or sensitive skin in mind, unfortunately. You would think they would be, but they say on the box that they are best for combo skin. They did rapidly dehydrate my skin & cause irritation unfortunately.) Anywho, color me disappointed. I'm really hoping that Glow Recipe comes out with a whole range of gentle, hydrating, moisturizing, soothing, healing, restoring, calming, plumping, glowy products designed especially for those with dry/sensitive skin. Because that is literally all I can use. Having some simple, anti-aging ingredients in them (like adenosine, ceramides, peptides, lipids, collagen, etc) would also be lovely. 😊 Just some lovely products to use that treat the skin with great kindness would be really appreciated. I would love to see another toner like their current PHA/AHA Toner (my FAVORITE product, which I adore the texture of), except it could be made with only super-hydrating, moisturizing, soothing, plumping ingredients. I'd also like to see a new Avocado Ceramide Serum (another favorite of mine) with no Niacinamide. Fingers crossed. 🤞😅

I love their cleansing balm. I’ve been through probably 3 or 4 containers. Definitely give that one another try. I’ll be giving the toner and strawberry exfoliate a try as I haven’t yet. Their products are overall great. Nothing has really disappointed me.

I really like their avocado eye cream. I wanted a retinol as a preventative step and I find it doesn't leave my under eyes dry and crepey like other retinol eye products I've tried. Then the strawberry serum was a surprise favourite! I initially thought it was making my skin sensitive (turns out that was something else) but I saw such good results I tried it again and w o w. My skin loves it. The difference in pore size and quick fading of dark spots is incredible. Like I like their toner a lot but this serum does everything for me.

Behind that, totally in love with the Avocado Ceramide Redness Relief Serum. I really noticed a difference in my skin once I started using that. All Glow Recipe products are a win for me. The Guava serum is actually one of my favorites! It's the only vitamin C product that hasn't irritated my skin, and I think it's because the types of VC they use are probably in lower percentages so it's gentler (their MO of course) and it doesn't feel weirdly oily. Does some time to see results though.

Glow recipe is a fun brand. I do enjoy the niacinamide glow drops, but other than that, I turn to stronger products. I'm 38, so anti-aging is my primary concern. Pretty packaging cannot be disputed, but for me the results and ingredients just aren't quite enough for me. 15 years ago oh my yes! I would say their products are good, but for my aging skin, they just aren't strong enough. Wonderful review as always!!!

My favourite clay/mud mask has been the Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Mask precisely because it has all of those qualities he described. The watermelon mask is supposed to peel of if you rub. It is an overnight mask and you have to wash it off the morning after. It is the best sleeping mask ever! Made my skin so super smooth and radiant I cannot live without!

Glow Recipe actually changed my skin for the better. I have been using the Ordinary’s products for about two years now, and I don’t see the results that I have seen since I started using Glow Recipe serums. My crow’s feet have visibly improved in the last three months. I am floored at the results!

@@newph0newhodis I use the plum plum hyaluronic acid serum, the moisturizer, and the watermelon niacinamide serum in the morning. I spray my face with a mist before I apply the hyaluronic acid serum, then the niacinamide serum, then the watermelon pink lotion. I use the plum plump cream for my under eye and eye lids, and crow’s feet area. I have severely dry skin so this works for me. I am 42, and aging turned my skin into a dehydrated mess. Even the thickest most hydrating moisturizers aren’t enough for my face. I only have to use a little dot on each eye of the plum plump cream.

I was so excited about the sunscreen, but I didn’t like it on my skin at all. I think it was the zinc. I’m a chemical sunscreen gal! The pilling was insane. Not for use under make-up.

My skin is addicted to the papaya cleansing balm, but it’s also very dry. I also love the retinol eye mask, the plum moisturizer, the avocado serum, the guava eye brightening cream, the strawberry AHA serum, and the niaminicin serum. Unfortunately, the watermelon moisturizer is not even close to being strong enough for me. I started using this brand because of you, and I use it faithfully every night. This is by far the most organized product review ever! I don’t know what’s more beautiful ur video ur skin ur nails ur accent lol I tried many skincare products my go to was clinique but then I don’t know I was immune to it and my skin was not improving then I was using peach and lily and same thing got used to it. I ordered hero products and it worked sort of well still felt the dryness on the skin and not that much hydrated. Then I bought the trials bundle with mini toner serum dew drops cream and for two days loved it and my skin started to get very well hydrated. I wasn’t sure if I should buy the full bottles but watching ur video helped a lot and I bought the plump cream limited edition pride toner and this serum bundle that had all the serums and dew drops I cannot wait to have them thank you for ur time and dedication on making these videos. ❤🎉😊

I've tried several of their products, and really like them a lot. I received a sample of the Plum Plump Moisturizer, and it is my favorite of all their products hands down! I did try the Watermelon Glow Toner, and while I liked it, I wasn't as crazy about it as you are..sorry! I personally love the GoodLight Moon Glow Milky Toner. It is my favorite go-to. (Honestly all the Goodlight products have not disappointed me). I have a more normal U-zone, and a dry-ish T-zone, a bit of textured skin. I haven't experienced pilling with the Watermelon sleeping mask. I like the feel of it, on the skin, not sure if I'd repurchase though. Still want to give it a go for a bit longer. I'd love to try the Watermelon Ultra Fine mist, it sounds so refreshing, and with the heat it would be fantastic!

How funny. I came here because the watermelon sleeping mask is the ONLY product that I've tried and I'm 100% obsessed. I got it in a boxycharm and its the only skin care product I've ever purchased after receiving in a box. I'm dry and nothing makes me feel more hydrated than that product. Thank you for telling me what other watermelon products are worth it because there's a bunch, and I had a feeling not all were created equal. I'm just now getting into a full skin care routine and I had no idea where to start. I got a big jar of my favorite product and a sample of the blueberry cleanser. Love this brand. I got the watermelon BHA in an advent calendar and my skin loved it. I just purchased the full range and used a lot of the products today. It works well on my skin and layers well.

Glow recipe is my go too (along with Cosrx). I have aging, dehydrated, irritated/red, freckled skin and use the balm, blueberry cleanser, and the toner, every day. I use the avocado retinol eye mask a couple times a week and the banana moisturizer is my holy grail! I never thought something so light could work so well on my skin. I’ve gotten so many compliments since I started using it. Love love this stuff ❤️

The watermelon sleeping mask looks like Ivan's Ooze, but pink 😂😂 I still haven't tried glow recipe because it's expensive and I never see it in stock in my Ulta. Peach and Lilly have a glass skin kit I just got so I'm going to dip my toe into Korean skin care with that shortly.

Glow Recipe is my favorite skincare brand. I’ve yet to try a product I dislike, and my routine is probably at least half Glow Recipe. I use the BHA/PHA toner morning and evening in the summer, the vitamin C in the morning, and the cleansing balm and niacinamide dew drops at night. I want to try the pink juice, I feel like I would love it. My husband also uses and really enjoys the plum plump moisturizer, and I use it intermittently and really love it as well.

I got the watermelon pink juice moisturizer in a mini, used it once, thought it made my face a little sticky, and pushed it to the back of my product shelf. Your rave review makes me want to pull it out again. Cannot live without the watermelon mist (so relaxing) and the Niacinamide dew drops. Love the many other products I have tried. Currently I am infatuated with the banana soufflé moisturizer.

I've been conditioned to read 'red' as bad and 'green' as great, so from the thumbnail I first thought your boxes were in reverse! 😂😂 Great video! But somehow for me, this and YTTP are kinda costlier than what I'm willing to spend for non-clinical brands, and the trial sizes I've tried mainly show a performance that's okay but not great which I'd be more ok with from a cheaper brand 🙂 like their pink moisturizer for its lightness though.

Okay I have thoughts!!!! I stopped using the watermelon sleeping mask completely after I tried the watermelon toner… the toner lasts much longer and does basically the same thing on my skin. And I wish the cleansing balm wasn’t so expensive! It is the cheapest by weight of my three faves (the TIMY balm and the tatcha oil) but I’m always on the lookout for something effective and cheaper. The avocado eye mask is a staple for me, especially in the winter when my eyes get super irritated if I wear makeup. It is really gentle but clears up any angry redness or bumps that make appear. And finally - the watermelon juice moisturizer did nothing for me! I am normal but acne prone and sensitive, so it makes sense that you might prefer it? But it made my skin feel dry and sensitized, even in the summer. I couldn’t finish it.

I actually really enjoy the avocado eye cream. The texture is lovely on my dry undereye area, and I notice a difference when I switch to use some of my other eye creams. But I'm also 47 years old with dark circles and fine (and not so fine) lines. I definitely agree with you about the scent of the original pineapple serum 🤭. Too bad I never got to try the reformulated version.
