Mind the Gap: Bridging the Distance Between Technology and the Educator | JNUC 2023

In the ever-evolving world of educational technology, we ask students, teachers, administrators and caregivers to take on many tools, tasks and difficult conversations. There are complexities that any of these roles may not be fully equipped to handle, as a student's knowledge of a workaround can quickly change the trajectory of one’s day. In this session, we will take a step back and discuss what role we all play in these situations and how to have better conversations with one another where blame and frustration take a back seat to calm and appreciation.
