"Having just got you back must I give you away so soon" right in the feels!
@nessyness54474 жыл бұрын
soon indeed, i find that brianna hot a really bad deal. i mean she wanted to go through college, have a career, enjoy sharing an appartment with her friend and a lot of things before getting married and start a family. she went to 18 century mostly to warn claire and jaimie and to meet jaimie since she was there, but her idea was to go back to her own time. but in the end what happened landed her in a position that stopped her from going back and married and with a child in no more than a year after saying she was not ready for a family cause she wanted other things first. i don'r know why romance writters think that marry and get a child is the most romantical thing in the world, i personally would have found refreshing if this time around roger had decided that he did understood brianna's point and that he was willing to see her side of things and continue a a relationship with no pressure about marriage and they would have gone back to their time after warning claire and jaimie and visiting for a while. or even better than instead of roger brianna would have fallen in love with someone of the 18 century who turned to be another traveler and fascinated by what brianna told him about how things are in the 70's he would have wanted to go with her to her time. i don't know any option was better than what happened, even if she gets pregnant it feels like her mentallity just changed a lot in a vwry short time, why would she worry so much about her child being born out of marriage? is not like her parents( claire at least) would disown her and cast her out for being a single mother... sure it was not well seen, but if she knows she is going to have support from her family then for someone from the 70's it should not be such a big deal, not enough to marry the first convinient person if roger didn't came back...( because if not for lord john she would have accepted forbe's proposal). i don't know just feel like she was a character with so much potential and they ruined her in the name of "romance" because they don't see romance if there is not marriage and kids.
@alexiciamoore56424 жыл бұрын
@@nessyness5447 I agree. They could’ve slowed things down a bit. There was no rush for Brianna. They did ruin a few things for her like giving her a chance to actually live a life rather than sacrificing it all in the name of romance. I mean, I imagined she’d get here eventually. And totally in the 18th century. Just not so fast.

I have a daughter. It still doesn't seem real to me. She's a miniature person. Everything is so small, like her tiny nose or her tiny hands. She talks. She runs. She laughs. Everything she does looks just like how a bigger person would do it, but it looks very odd being done by someone who doesn't even come up to my waist. Every day when I see her I think, "This is very strange and miraculous." Somehow here she is, speaking and expressing her tiny person thoughts. I don't remember ever having been this small. I know just how this man feels. I've studied biology, I know I'm programmed by nature to feel strongly for someone who looks so much like me. It doesn't help that she's unreasonably cute, like a tiny doll come to life. Even knowing it, and despite having seen some truly epic stuff in my life, still it is impossible not to think this tiny person is the most amazing miracle I have ever seen or heard of.

Anthony, Amen to that, I am sure there will never be another show to rival “outlander” I have been Re-Watching it for five years and never tire of it, I always see some element’s I may have missed even now, it is so rich and diverse in it’s content, Sam and Cait, are Phenomenal Actor’s, and the Supporting Cast are all Amazing, some of my favourite episodes are when they go to Paris, Although it was partly filmed in Prague and Scotland as you probably know! everything about it was so lavish in every detail, I had better close now as you have probably gathered I am a major supporter of “Outlander”. ‘Sorry’ Best Wishes from U.K.

OUTLANDER.

Thing is, and this is from someone who knows, as much as we all love Jamie, the reality is that the person who raised you, kissed your scrapes, nursed your colds and fevers and attended all the milestones IS your father in every sense. Now she has Jamie as an adult, and that is entirely different...still unique and important, but very different for those in her position.
@nessyness54474 жыл бұрын
as bad as it can be for jaimie it also wouldn't be very fair for frank's memory if brianma simply changed one father for another and stopped talking about the things frank taught her or stop calling her dad. jaimie was very unlucky with his two children, he didn't got to really raise them, but that is not frank or lord john's fault who raised brianna and willy and were their fathers. at least brianna knows that jaimie is her biological father and they can have a father and daughter relationship now. jaimie missed her childhood just as frank has missed her wedding and the birth of her first child. they are both brianna's fathers and they both have missed and ejoyed different important moments of her life.

@andreawirtz27283 жыл бұрын
In the Book it’s actually Claires eye color, she has gold-brown eyes like bourbon. Jamie and Brianna both have Blue eyes . It’s funny because with Frank and Claire she seemed always a little bit of because of her different features : she had red hair and blue eyes (looked exactly like her paternal grandmother) Frank and Claire both had brown eyes and hair.
