Great sermon and am thrilled to have stumbled on it. I was a nothing. Despised disowned destitute. But by grace alone I now preach and can financially give to the Glory of God. I am still a fool but now a fool for Christ. This sermon reminds me it's 100pc about Christ

At least I did not choose to carry demonic waste, loosening 1 corinthians 1:26-31, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, binding all demonic waste to the pit of hell, while loosening myself, my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ of thinking too low of oneself, loosening myself being unequally yoked with and have any common share with those thinking too low of oneself, amen and hallelujah!

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (February 28), 1 Corinthians 1:26-30, along with Acts 16:11-15, 40, was the basis for our Sunday School Lesson of the Day. It was entitled "Lydia: Called to Serve." The hymn, "All Are Welcome," written and composed by Marty Haugen, is a good hymn to compliment these Scriptures, regardless of denomination. Corinth: the New York City/Las Vegas of the Bible. Agree or disagree? Feel free to reply.

Why do you train the rich to be humble!!! What about training Bill Gates and others like him leave the prison alone and quit bullying them!!
