Season one was so amazing I was hoping that season two would be just as good. It wasn't.. It was TWICE as good!! The second season is even more hypnotic than the first!! Gillian & Jamie are on fire giving stellar performances with a fantastic supporting cast. If you have NETFLIX this is an absolute must see series!!

So true! I was waiting for a series like this, well written, awesome actors and super thrilling. So tired of the talent stuff and other competition tv out there, I love that this is more serious and actually scares the crap out of me. I suspect you would love the "nerdist" podcast with Gillian Anderson as a guest. It's so funny, relaxed and quite cleaver at times.

She even said in an interview that she can't understand how people found Scully to be hot while she "looked like shit" half of the time. She was always beautiful, her face and eyes and lips were always gorgeous even when she was heavily pregnant or wearing a hideous pantsuit. Pilot Scully was a total bae. The bad fashion was also an attempt to age her given she was 24/25 playing a professional woman five years older. And then hiding the bump.

I think that's why they chose Jamie to be Paul Spector, because serial killers are supposed to be deceptive and charming. He is such a brilliant actor, he played Spector so well.

+92RedRevolver I've thought the same thing. In US interviews she speaks with a totally American accent... It's odd. People usually have their own accent they speak in when they're not acting and they stick to it.

92RedRevolver she's bi-dialectal. She was born in the States but her family moved to London when she was 2. The English accent was her first. Her family returned to the state's when she was 12 and she got picked on because of her English accent, so she adapted and picked up the American one. Her accent changes depending on which country she's in and who she's talking to. I saw her on an Australian tv show and she seemed hella confused...it's like she couldn't adapt to either of her natural accents. anyway, there you have it. I've been a fan for at least 22 years haha

I have been riveted. “ Stella’s “ character transmits her continual walk towards the unknown : the supporting Actor “ Lead Detective “ who says of Stella, “ she has acquired a unique Skill Set …”, adds another layer to her mind. The Irish Actor communicates a deep brooding intellect, with a disturbing air of being fascinating to his audience. 1 character not mentioned, so much, is the character role of the young Benidito Teenager who is trauma bonded to Spector and walking towards his Dark Path. Anyway - I’m on Season 3 and for me - to criticise this Episode, is a bit like being critical of how real life pans out, we don’t end where we began The simple addition of the Swedish Forensic Psych.’s Accent and deliberate slow speaking pattern, is brilliant Drama. They probably will not make a 4-6 follow up Episodes but if they ever did, Episode 3 would stand out. A point in Spector’s and Stella’s Lives ( + Cast ‘s), I did not see coming! Fantastic body of Work! ✨✨✨✨

I really enjoyed this,it was very intense and extremely well acted,the only thing that put me off it was the overbearing feminism and extreme male bashing,apart from Spector all the other male characters were very weak,making Gibson seem even more superior.Less of the Feminism in future it kind of ruined it for me.Im all for equality for women but making out that all men are potentially rapists and murderers is a bit over the top.
