Not to be that girl but I am that Jamaican girl that have zero tolerance for people that look for PERFECTION, GREATNESS AND EXCELLENCE out of others and critic them harshly when they dont measure up to some dumb subliminal standard... Jamie did not say he was a gymnast, a work out fanatic, nor does he has a strict diet..he dabbles here and there with his workouts.. What he did was VERY IMPRESSIVE!! keep in mind he had shoulder surgery a few years back..non of us is perfect NAT, NAN, NONE of us is purfecttttttt. so why the heck we always expecting perfection out of people. Im happy for those on here that says they can do what he did with ease and longer etc etc..some yall say everyone can do this 'PART TRICK' welp i cant..he did great and im quite sure that scene is going to look epic in the movie

Arlene Sutherland Well said, Arlene. All the hate and ridicule is absolutely ridiculous. Not that it matters, but Conan is the one who asked him to do the 'trick' - Jamie didn't offer, only obliged. I'm sure he would have preferred not to have done it, he even said, 'This is such a bad idea.' And you are correct. He doesn't proclaim to be an expert gymnast or super athlete. As you pointed out, he admits he rarely works out - so to me, I think it's pretty impressive for anyone who has that kind of upper body strength to wing that off the edge of a desk. But you know, everyone's a critic and has to chime in because something doesn't measure up to their personal standard of perfection. The one thing I do agree with is the constant screaming over every little comment or move he makes. It makes the interviews difficult to hear and sometimes the host(s) have to stop or request the crowd to calm down so they can actually ask questions. It's time lost where questions could be asked or something shared, but screaming ensues.

Jamie had this on his twitter page one time, he had done training for something he was doing! He did it on a railing were his head could go down as far as he wanted, much like he can on a pommel horse! He held it for like 2 and 1/2 minutes! His body was like at a angle, head straight with his body, like he was doing here, only here its harder to hold because the desk doesn't alway for his head to dip lower! So yes you have to have upper body strength and core muscles! I don't believe he's on social media anymore! But what he did is very hard! Wish had a pommel horse or that rail! Then he would held it much longer! Pretty impressive and Jamie is a really cool laid back guy!
