Massive respect for Jamie George. Great player.....and to cap it off he seems like a top bloke too. 100% agree with him; actions speak louder than words.

I thought after the world cup when they went back to their clubs Tom Curry was sat in a team meeting, felt something on his shoulder and turned around to see Faf dangling his RWC medal over his shoulder?

Most South Africans were irritated by the fact that most English people, led by their media, crowned the English rugby team world champions before a ball was kicked. Here in South Africa, most people were dumbfounded by England's overconfidence because it was not justified, quite frankly.

@@tidopotso England didn't though lol
@pattate96364 жыл бұрын
@@tidopotso That's fucking bollocks. Nobody here was anything like that, most certainly not the fans. We all knew they would be fucked from the NZ game and it would be a bloody tough test in the final. Bet you didn't read a single actual British Newspaper column and just read and listened to what you wanted to re anti-England.
@patrickchilds29872 жыл бұрын
@@tidopotso why not actually read the coverage before thr game. The team were on media silence. The press were excited but hardly declaring victory. I challenge you to find any paper that did. Pod show hosts might have picked England to win but thats their opinion. No one crowned England champions, before the game I dont know why Bok fans are still so fragile and gullible that they have to pan England. The Springbok team seem to be a decent and humble bunch. It s a shame their fans still feel that having won the final they think that denigrating the losing finalist based on perceived slights somehow elevates their achievement. It doesn't, previous winning finalists have always been gracious in victory and celebrated their achievement . Bok fans don't seem to understand this sadly

Why do so many rugby players have lisps? Is it due to impacts to the jaw/teeth area, or is it just a speech impediment that is predominantly found in middle class people? (In a similar way that most elderly British academics have stuttering issues).

Dude's, no your not tough enough, World Cup Final you guy's got pushed back so far, it was weird (almost). IMO Wales could have beaten England pretty well in the final. Close game, however Wales wins!
@harrypenfold28684 жыл бұрын
I disagree very strongly with your statement. You don’t beat a world beating New Zealand team without a certain degree of toughness. There was certainly a lack of dynamism yes but when you lose a key game changing player (sinckler) and replace with a pretty average player around the park there’s bound to be some weakness in attacking options
