It's important to be intentional about life in general. This is such a great conversation. I'm thankful that Jamie was vulnerable enough to share openly and honestly with us. Thank you Jamie.

Can I just say that I AM LOVING these conversations around mental health! Yessssss BTTV!!! I too am coping with mental health and speaking about it more openly. I resonate with the young lady, and her comments in the intro, there were times it got so dark that I did not want to be here anymore but God is keeping me, he is comforting me, he has me in his hands and therapy has been a help, learning about the brain has been a help, being vocal about it has been a tremendous help, there's something about knowing that you're not alone that eases the spirit. I love that you shared this dialogue, it is so helpful and reassuring to know that as a believer I am not alone, there are others who relate. I ADMIRE THE COURAGEOUS WHO SPEAK ABOUT IT! THANK YOU!

Also freedom groups at church are a big help. There are many others with issues such as this and greater. I think hearing that brings freedom, along with walking through the process

@@MsBdoll87 We don't have freedom groups at my church. Hm, maybe I can find a community online somewhere. Agreed, walking through process with the knowledge that you're not alone is such a blessing.
@MsBdoll872 жыл бұрын
@@raewithgrace possibly so. My church doesn’t have them either, but a lot of contemporary churches do. That’s how I was introduced to them. My coworker invited me to their fall renewal conference and you don’t have to be a member to participate in their freedom group. Please do your research for local churches in your area. I sense it will be a big help on your journey. You’ve got this and your story will someday be the key to set others free

Learning to cope, being mindful of what is going on with you and noticing possible stress-related things and/or people is very helpful. What the ladies were speaking about here is wisdom.

God bless you, Jamie!! We do not often hear about God as a sustainer, and that is when He shows us how to cope with whatever we battle. When we cope, we can continuously show God to the world, and they can see it for themselves through our lives. God bless you if you get instant deliverance, God be with you when you have to endure and still believe.

Thank you for speaking about these issues of mental disorders. More people, myself included, need to hear this! God bless you all on Better Together. I love, love this show. It has blessed me so much. May our Holy God pour out His peace, comfort, and wisdom for all who are struggling.

Thank you ladies for tackling this issue. I come from a family with undiagnosed mental illness. I'm taking it on with myself and my siblings who all grew up in foster as well as myself. So, I'm struggling with this right now. Prayers for learning how to cope.

This message was the first thing I listened to this morning (after my daily scripture of course lol) but it was so specific to my conversation with God last night. I thought it was about MY anxiety but it was more about being the support for my partner who suffers with anxiety and adhd. It has been such a hard journey that I know God has called me to, but it’s not for the faint heart. But when she shared about her support and how well she’s doing it just convicted me, that is what I’m called to be. God is always circling back to remind me to be love, be support, but what I am to you- to the person you love. I know it’s hard but you’re obviously not alone, and there’s always grace.

That's a good point Jamie made, God isn't going to Fix everything like we would like Him to, He is saying My Grace is sufficient. As we go thru strength is developed and each day gets BETTER. (My Take).

I recently heard that when we are discouraged, anxious, depressed what have you, it's certainly NOT because we're focusing on Christ too much. and i thought that was powerful. This has helped me tremendously recently. Learning how to intentionally shift my focus back to Christ in all situations. Matthew 6:33

Also have been dealing with anxiety, but be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

I have individuals trying to reverse psychology on me to deter me from speaking up about harsh acts toward me after I committed a sin. I love my life but these individuals are telling me to die over it. They hope that I am drowning financially to end up in homelessness and to be baren. They even cut and sabotaged my hair.
