It's so easy to forget that his grace is available to me especially when I'm wrapped in sin. I hide and find it difficult to come to him because I feel shame. Deep in my heart I know he loves me but i judge myself.

The word of God says that when we confess our sins God is faithfull and just to forgive us our sins and cleans us from all unrighteousness. I also went through what you are going through right now. During this time the enemy was accusing me so much about the things I have done and this made it so hard for me to go before God. Spiritual warfare is real. The word of God was my weapon in this tough time...the word of God is so powerful.

I have been really depressed about life. I am in my 30s I am nowhere being successful in life. Last year my grandma passed away. It's been hard for me to see a purpose in life and accomplishing my dreams of becoming a Nurse. The process has been taking me awhile because I have a learning disability. Figuring out what works for me and what doesn't has been really stressing me out. I'm asking God Why me. God why are things so hard for me to understand and learn. I have been thinking about giving up on becoming a Nurse. I can't see myself doing anything else in life. Trusting God and actually seeing and believing that he is going to do the impossible in my life. I haven't seen it at all.

..... I come from a household where it was punishment. Like you do something wrong - you get punished out here period - point blank and often times like we take our Earthly parents and we apply it to our heavenly relationship with God and who he is and my parenting has more literally morphed into a more grace-filled loving parenting to my daughter but i think is first that i received Grace. | Toni Collier |

It's amazing that she was drinking from the same well as those who shamed her. Yet, she met Jesus Christ. He told her a powerful truth of drinking from another source, not the one known. Jesus' answer in John 4 verses 13 and 14 was "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” Living water for me any day everyday Lord. Please and thank You.

What about when the other person is mentally, emotionally, and verbal abusive? When the other person manipulates you and gas lights you. How do you love that person? How do you extend grace? Do we allow the abuse? Or what do we do in this situation?

No, you don't allow abuse. You get yourself to safety. Allowing abuse isn't loving them, it's enabling them to sin. People need to experience the consequences of their actions in order to bring them to their knees in repentance. God doesn't want you to be abused. You can forgive them but forgiveness doesn't equal reconciliation. I escaped a very abusive situation that I stayed in way too long because of the wrong thinking. God finally rescued me when I couldn't take it any more. Please don't be like me, put your faith in God and let him take care of you and put the abuser in his hands.
