Great video Jamie. I like the fact that you don’t edit out when you lose a fish because everyone does… even the pros! Good luck in the finals. 👍🎣

Thanks so much Jamie! What do you not know! Every vlog I learn and am educated! Quick question, what is the ideal hook length for a method/banjo/pellet feeder? Thanks

Thank you for your thinking about switching between both tools. However what is the best solution when the peg is about 3 to 6 meters depth’s ? What is the best method ? Final question : what kind of rod and reel are you using for this video ?

Gr8 vid, big fan of Matrix & 'the man' just wondering why not one rod then just swop to the pellet feeder using the gr8 system Matrix developed. Cheers
@ifishmatrix2 жыл бұрын
The main reason is that he would also have to swap the hooklengths as they’re different on the two feeders. Jamie’s match fishing brain is always working out how to save those extra seconds but you’re right, for most anglers it’s really easy to just swap the feeders.

I only pleasure fish now, I watched this video 2 weeks ago, I went fishing Saturday just gone, I caught a few fish on a traditional flat bed method feeder, then I was getting loads of indications no pull rounds, I changed my feeder to a banjo type, holding my feed tighter, next 4 casts 4 pull rounds,, doesn't just work for professional anglers like Jamie, it will work for you, pay attention and give it a go, cheers Jamie. 👍

Ps I'm 60 now, when I was a lad we didn't have many options, had 20 year out, now back into it, I kid you not, watching the likes of Jamie, Andy and forgive me, the camera man lad, if you pay attention believe me you can copy what they are doing and have a great day, don't get me wrong you're not going to beat these lads they are slick as f**k on the pole, but it's a joy that they share their knowledge 👍😉

Pps, there was a young man watching me, when I changed feeder and got a pull round almost emediately, I told him it was my idea, soz, just needed to get that off me chest 😉

Hi Jamie, Where does the hybrid feeders fit in this as they keep the pellets contained same as the pellet feeder but you can always "hump" a top layer to introduce the bait faster? Best of both worlds or are the method and pellet feeders more targeted ends of the spectrum?
@ifishmatrix2 жыл бұрын
The advantage of the pellet feeder is that the fish have to come in from one way to get the bait so it’s harder for the fish to miss the hook bait when loaded correctly

Please tell me if the hybrid feeder is something intermediate between a pellet feeder and a classic flat feeder, or does it have its own individual concept? Thank you for the answer!
@kurtee3920 Жыл бұрын
Irs more like the classic but slower to release the pellets and keeps in a tidy pile I believe I always have success with it more then the method, yet to try the pellet feeder

Great vid Jamie, do you have a preferred pellet for the Pellet feeder? does it make a difference? cheers 👍👍👍
@ifishmatrix2 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t matter that’s much, quite often it’s fishery pellets that Jamie has to use. The most important part is soaking them so they’re nice and soft
