Margate,Ventnor,Longport, & Atlantic City use to have larger swells 40 years ago. Now, the biggest waves are only occurring if there's a storm out in the Atlantic.I grew up in Margate and surfed for years but now there are very few fun days except maybe in September. That's why I bought a paddle board.Time for electric surf boards?

I'm so confused. That surf clip was from a different day right? Said "this trip might not end up looking like that". I've never been in the water on the east coast but i heard it gets warm during the summer. This looks freezing but well worth it

Idk how it is for other states on the east coast but in New Jersey the water is about 50-65 degrees throughout June and July which is pretty cold compared to August-October which is our warmest months where the water is probably 70-75 degrees. I was confused too because everyone’s in jackets and full suits but NJ’s gotten some pretty crazy heat waves and then 1 or 2 days of like 48-50 nights and mornings with a high of 65. It’s weird man 😂
