It's all the same, nothing's changed Again, I find myself in the current As I am gracelessly tossed around and around Your words echo and your voice resounds When we awake from our sleep We'll know that this is where we're supposed to be With walls, and walls, and walls Of water for miles Just know that: We are so fragile And easily broken But I'll try my hardest To put you back together If you do the same for me For now just sleep my sweet Don't worry about what tomorrow brings So let's pretend that we're giants among common men Because we've never been taller than our demons within We are so fragile And easily broken But I'll try my hardest To put you back together If you do the same for me We are so fragile And easily broken But I'll try my hardest To put you back together If you do the same for me Why did you have to leave me To fend for myself? Unfortunately, I've given up on ever seeing Jamie's Elsewhere live, and I've given up on them as committed people. These guys inspired me to join in on this genre, and I have now played with some pretty successful bands, but after having cancelled in the middle of multiple tours, losing two vocalists in the past 3 years I've given up on them. For those of you who didn't know, Justin has left the band because during their latest tour, they up and quit in the middle of it and went home. Justin, not wanting to let the fans down, continued the tour by himself, playing acoustic JE songs as to not disappoint the fans. Matt, Dustin, and the new additions, I really hope you can get it together. You are phenomenal musicians, and your music is still an inspiration to me today.
@isaacharp8020 Жыл бұрын
nah that's not really right but alr my dad and uncle (Anthony and Matt Scarpelli) formed the band they all had disagreements on tour just a general things didn't work out kinda thing so they stopped the tour it wasn't just a "lets go home" type of thing. Good news though, Jamie's Elsewehere is back, with Aaron Pauley again, and they are gonna be touring more in the future, sadly it's still up in the air as to where and when cuz I want to go to a show so bad just like you lol

Well since Aaron joined Of Mice & Men, here in the UK they've been track of the day and on the daytime playlist on our biggest current music station BBC Radio 1 and then playing Radio 1 Rocks and one of our biggest festivals Reading & Leeds. I'd say Aaron is very much accepted in Of Mice And Men

A lot of members in JE have commitment problems. They kept canceling tours, and Aaron needed money to propose to his now wife. JE still has issues, and recently kicked out Justin because they cancelled their last tour right in the middle of it. Justin was pissed and finished the rest of the tour by himself playing acoustic JE songs.

Oh man! Im thinking their new album won't be so great now =/. My favorites are "The Mapmaker" "They Said A Storm Was Coming" and "Giants Among Common Men". L0l. It'd be nice if they do what Crown The Empire does, you know? Like how Andy and Dave both growl. It'd be really great.

Bob Builde hell yeah it would. I don't see many comments about Crown the Empire, you kinda shocked me haha

I think that he should have stuck with this band and that Shayley stayed with Of Mice & Men

Well, DayShell is pretty awesome but I liked it more when Aaron was doing his thing in Jamie's Elsewhere

Well, I don't blame Shay for leaving. I mean it would've been great if everything had worked out, but what with his depression and personal problems, I think he was justified in leaving.

i love DayShell, so i wish Joel Piper from Confide accepted his invite into OMAM, and aaron stayed with JE. three kickass bands.

Honestly after hearing Back to Me and Unbreakable I now completely disagree. Aaron is definitely a better fit for Of Mice and Men than Shayley was. Plus you can't deny those songs sound better than the shit Dayshell brings out.

I was so glad when Aaron came to Jamie's Elsewhere. He did amazing screaming and singing. But I think he'll be even better in Of Mice.
