That's because Roland Dane is the first to cry foul whenever anything goes against 888, it gets quite embarrassing sometimes. All other teams suck it up and get on with it. And Whincup seems to have a bit of a petulant streak sometimes when things go a bit wrong or Frosty roughs him up - he really is the Vettel of V8 Supercars. I mean that as a complement too, in that he's the dominant driver of recent times.

@Ranga fair enough, although at NZ there was not much frosty could do with locked rear brakes... And he didn't receive a penalty because whin cup still won and frosty finished 12th or 13th, even RD said this was enough of a penalty. As for whincups dive in the other race, that was not on... So he got a points penalty I believe.

Can't comment on the Van Gisbergen incident as I did not watch sandown 500 '13. At the end of the day whincup wins everything there is to win in V8SC, so frosty probably gets the rough end of it unfortunately, anyway it's racing, and as you said great for us to watch :]

@Ranga simply because when whincup dive bombs someone, they give him room, what does he do when he's on the receiving end? Oh that's right turns in on them. He needs a dose of his own medicine more often I reckon. Whincup is the one who is dirty and aggressive with his desperate dives. Frosty is all class.

Atleast when other drivers dive bomb whincup there right behind him beforehand, whincup is always like 4 car lengths behind when he dive bombs, clipsal turn 9 over the years is a perfect example...

no he isnt Whincup has just had to cruise the least couple of seasons in his T888 Ford/Holden's but Winterbottom has had to push his car each year look at 2008/2009/2010 he was miles ahead of veteran Steven Richards (who is a rocket) in fact the only year FPR had it easy was the first half of 2012 where they won 9/11 and then 13/15

that wasn't his fault, they were racing hard, winter bottom ran Jamie wide, if you look at Jamie's wheels they are turned right for the next corner, and so are winterbottoms, just they way it happened it was unlucky

actually i must say, Whincup has had to fight this year because this COtF is proving that Whincup is not as great a driver as everyone thought, it was just the car he had. He is a very dirty driver, and I'm not a very big fan of either but if Winterbottom wins over Whingecup I'm always happy (actually if anyone wins over Whingecup I'm happy!)

What about NZ?? Winterbottom dived Whincup and slammed into him, and no penalty given. yet next day whincup gives him a bit of a nudge to get past and penalty given. Frosty does the same thing as whincup in sandown 13' to vangisburgen and not even under investigation. Yeah they go at eachother and they both make mistakes that we argue about but i reckon Jamie has gotten the worst end of the deal most of the time (being penalties etc)

Not once did Whincup run Winterbottom off the road, yes there was a few bumps but that's the whole point of racing isn't it. Winterbottom on the other hand it is a completely different story. Not one of these moments has Winterbottom got a penalty, but Jamie Whincup has. (Unfair)
