The true speed of this film is between 1200 and 1600. At 3200 you are already pushing it. I have seen some really effective portraits done with this film and a Holga. Some really good photography there.

I love this film stock, I have only used it in low light (ish) and night time.

What key characteristics do you like? I think it’s just too grainy for me and great for memories but not necessarily for artwork and commissions. Glad to hear there are those out there that like it. Maybe I need another go at it!

@dop_ I like the high contrast, given the right composition I think it’s moody or atmospheric ! I put up a short image reel on my channel of some shots using it. I’ve since bought some more, I’m hoping to get into Edinburgh one night soon and rip through a few spools!

I like to use Delta 3200 at night or dusk, empty train stations, places without people etc.
