I don't know about Your current situation, but You can probably come back to the Army after a certain period hawe passed i think, or check if there are other typs of job You can do in their service. I know there is at least one TS woman in active service which hawe her own KZbin channel, unfortunatly i can't remember her name at the moment because it stand still in my head, but i use to watch her videos from time to time. I think You may find some ansvears there.

This is so utterly frustrating. My whole life, I've always felt there was something wrong, something about myself I didn't like. Instead of ever feeling like I want to be female, I only ever felt as if I really wanted to die. I often thought about suicide but would mostly fantasize about dying from an accident or disease. These thoughts have been around as long as I can remember and it sparked a deep obsession with death. I always thought that that was what it was, I'm just fascinated with death. I'm still curious about death, but lately, there's been this light streaming from the deep recesses of my subconscious. This beautiful scary light has been brightening the dark void of death obsession and offers warmth in my cold crevice I've become too comfortable in. I am # 2 of four boys and have a wonderful mother who is very adapt to being amongst men. I, though it is nobodies fault, believe that this has suppressed my feminine side and has lead to depression and thoughts of death and suicide. My biggest fear about transitioning is that no one will take me seriously. I'm afraid my loved ones will only see it as a passing faze and would be angry with me for considering going through such a dramatic change. I have gone through fazes in the past in different ways and have made promises to myself and others that seemed to just slip through my fingers, or I've generally lost interest. But, I've always wanted to die. I've always hated myself and, for no good reason. I often thought it was from a lack of a love life, and this sense of isolation from everyone else who date and have sex. Recently I met a person who was transitioning from male to female and one night we got drunk and had a fun night. Though I feel as if not enough had happened between us to justify me losing my virginity, I felt no shame. What I am ashamed of is my confusion with myself and uncertainty of what I truly want. I don't want to jump into something this life changing without being certain it's gonna be what makes me finally happy with myself and who I am. How long, or when do you think is a right point of being sure?

Its great that college allowed you to be you and to become you. One of the most wonderful things about a transgender woman in a relationship in with a cisgender man is that she has had the experience of seeing life through his eyes and been able to have interests like he might have like hunting, fishing, hockey, model railroading, ,outdoors stuff, camping, distance bicycle touring etc. While a lot of relation ships fall apart over money, a lot of relation ships fall apart over a lack of understanding of the importance of recreational interests. Many wives at best tolerate their husbands traditionally male interests and make them "pay" not in dollars but in the relationship. As a 31 years of marriage cisgender "liberated male", I would be much less stressed in my home life if my wife could appreciate or even better share my interests which tend toward traditional male outdoors and model railroad interests. The camping gear got sold. We fight over the trains. And I think back about when I dated women in my youth who shared my interests with sad what ifs. Jamie you bring special gifts into a relationship with the right kind of guy because you can have the guys of mutual sharing and respectful relationship in a marriage that doesn't often happen because you've got so much common ground to build on and share as well as so much diversity to create an interesting and vibrant lasting and mutually fulfilling relationship with a guy. You are a really cute--but more importantly, you are smart , brave, creative, forgiving, cherishing, kind, respecting, and loving.. Obviously any guy who you choose to spend your life has to l.ove you for EVERYTHING that you are because everything that you are is what has made you the fabulous young woman that you are today.
