Watching how gentle, kind, and patient “grandpa” was with the two boys was so beautiful and just restored my faith in humanity. He is such a wonderful listener to the boys, really being completely present with them and hearing all of their ideas. I love that they are teaching the boys to “think of others” instead of only focusing on their own wants. What an important life lesson! I also adored how Lincoln was so attentive to the prices and focused on staying within their budget… there was a lot of great critical thinking and smart decision making going on in those little boys’ head. Your family just warms up my heart so much. Thank you for sharing these joyful moments.

The children really enjoyed shopping for Christmas presents for their mama with their granddad. Then coming home and having colorful and pretty donuts while mommy bakes.

I have the Yankee candle gingerbread scent. It is wonderful. My entire house smells like gingerbread cookies. I sure wish I felt like making some. I would get mommy those pajamas and some of those cool socks

The boys did a good job . Especially with knowing how much to spend and how much things cost ! Lol How many of the kids fought over the big ginger bread cutters ? Every year i buy something thats gingerbread ! Houses , figurines all that, and i do a small xmas tree in that spot with only gingerbread figures ! I have different trees for different spots of rhe house. We are Ukraine, so i havw 4 Christmas tree ornaments that were our great grand parents . And i have bought some other Ukraine Christmas ornaments that i was lucky enough to find one store that sold them. Then another tree thats nothing but wood stems and my hubby started that by buying the smores ornaments , so we have about 30 of those ! I put horses and bears an such in that spot. Then me and my husband are retired,him as a police officer and me as a firefighter among many other things . So we decorate a small tree with just that stuff. Its a lot of work but so much fun.

The boys were adorable! Please tighten their carseat straps though. The buckle part needs to be at their underarms.

He may have fixed them before they left . They used to get on Skylar about that , but I always tell folks no one really knows what they are doing after the cam is shut off . When my son was little , he didn't even have a car seat, we put him in just a baby carrier that had a belt that went over his little belly and clicked on the side . Kids weren't even made to be in regular car seats. When my parents were going to an appointment , it was snowy that day but not horrible, they watched my son two days a week when I worked. There was an accident and one side of the road was closed, the police officer waved my parents through, and the guy coming the other way who was drunk decided to come towards my parents before they were through . My dad who was a firefighter at the time did the best he could, they said the other guy was going min 45 . He hit the side of my dad's car and the car rolled 3 or 4 times into the ditch which was about 20 foot down. The fire dept came over to work to get me and drive me to the hospital, and my son only needed 3 stitches above his eye ! My mom was hurt pretty bad. But my son just being in a baby seat, was totally ok, and the only reason he got stitches was because the small stroller my parents had hit him in the face ! So even though car seats are awesome and all believe me , they said that seat saved his life . The car was so bad, that the state police officer said he was afraid to go look inside the car because he was afraid someone wasn't alive. The lady in the other car , she had died . The guy didn't get anything, other than tickets and I think 6 months in jail ! That was the sad part

It's up to the parents what they buy, how much they spend. Three gifts is fine, plus Jami is a savvy shopper and gets great deals.
