Lyrics
Baby, maybe, we can spend a little time
Together now that we're alone
So long I have been waiting
Now can't you let me take you home
All these things we do
Will make our dreams come true
You want me, and
I surely want you
Tell me where to go
Tell me what I need to know
To take you on a little ride
Hold me, control me
Let me circumnavigate your body mind & soul
Like a, seed from a flower
I can grow and you must know
Sadness, don't mean a thing
Cos, you and me girl, you know we're in the swing
All the things that I want to get with
You on a midsummer night
In the evening light
(The) sweet evening light
All these things we do
Will make our dreams come true
I want you
You want me, and
I surely need you baby
All so far what we've done
Has made our life become
Something more then evening light to make it right
All, all I want from you baby, is sweet loving you
No, I know, yes, I know
I know what I want from you girl, we can make it right
We can hold onto each other tight,
Lose our inhibitions
Yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh
Every little thing we do is good
Every little thing you see is sweet
Every little part of you I'd like to meet
I want you girl, you know I want you
I want you in the evening light

Now and then I stumble upon a gem like this and can’t stop listening to it for months. “Everyday” has been on repeat for a week now. I drive to this song at nighttime which in my case means that I’m totally obsessed with it. Anyways, why tf can’t I find a live version of this?? It’s always the great songs that are underrated and don’t have a live version on KZbin. Edit: It has been 7 months and I’m still listening to this every single day. Edit: It has actually been 10 months now and it still feels so good. I simply can’t get enough of it.

People still think Jamiroquai is a person and not a group after all these years:::giggle:::that's what happens when their only exposure to them is that Virtual Insanity video with frontman Jay Kay alone in a shifting room. Then again, became pretty much the Jay Kay show after the Synkronized album (last one that still felt like the original lineup was intact, minus bass player Stu Zender who was kicked out during those recording sessions). If only they knew just how good they really had it back then... :-(

@@benjamincox4211 Something to do with him wanting to have more say in the writing credits and for good reason. I don't think Jay with his increasingly overblown ego took too kindly to that (hah), plus Stu also had a family to take care of at the time so there wasn't gonna be much work to be done with the group anyway. Sad because the Synkronized album originally featured HIM on bass (was actually gonna be titled 'Symphonized') before Jay had those tracks removed in favor of fill-in Nick Fyffe and longtime keyboardist Toby Smith (RIP) handling all the bass lines for a change.
