In times of Guns and Roses, Metallica, Nirvana, Oasis, RHCP, etc... Jamiroquai broke with pure class and groove. Still sounds fresh. One of the best bands ever

@@surfboarding5058 yes, I love those bands. But Jamiroquai was super cool beyond rock bands, in my opinion. It came out with an extra cool and funky/jazzy stuff

@@federicoabella776 yes my favorite as well Jamiroquai is essentially 70s jazz fusion and soul made in the 90s
@federicoabella7767 ай бұрын
@@surfboarding5058 absolutely. They were the most prominent band of the london acid jazz scene in early 90s, continuing the parh that started Simply Red and even Sade. It was a kind of tribute to 70s disco music and Motown soul with a fusion twist which was soo refreshing...

Mr Moon my favourite Jamiroquai track! For me, the happiest of times and not just because I was one of the people in the audience for this performance. Great to be reminded of the original lineup once again. What I would give for a chance to see them all one last time - How young did Stuart look, Gavin & NVG. RIP Toby!🙏

Cheers! The Beat is the unsung hero in 90s music shows. Love seeing all these. I was like 13/14 years old at the time and there was no way I could watch the show as it was on at like 3:30 am???? We only had one TV in the house! When you think of the (non) amount of music programs on UK TV in the 90s it was pretty atrocious really. Yet we had bloody infinite sports coverage. I used to loathe Grandstand!!! Is that still on? (sorry. writing from Japan) Anyway, God bless KZbin and ScottishTeeVee!

Great to hear from a viewer in Japan, I have heard from a few there before, but never an ex-pat. Glad you are enjoying the blasts from the past on this channel Tyrone. Grandstand ended in 2007, but there's still more sport, or should I say football on TV than ever, which to be honest I can't stand, I guess you are the same? If there's anything in particular your looking to see again, then do let me know and I'll trawl the tapes for you.

Looks like a transitional line up… I see Derrick Mackenzie on drums and is that Nick van Gelder (the first Drummer) on percussion. 🥁 interesting.. don’t think I’ve ever seen this line up before. First guitar player there also, though the name escapes me.
