Jamison Newlander’s Lost Locations: Searching for the Lost Boys

In 1986, a new vampire movie #LostBoys started filming on location in #SantaCruz. Today a lot of the spots where Lost Boys filmed around the town are hard to get to or easy to miss. Jamison Newlander who played #AlanFrog - one half of the vampire-hunting duo the #FrogBrothers - returns after more than 35 years to see about making this Lost Boys Santa Cruz #SantaCarla experience better curated. This is the first episode - exploring Grandpas house and the comic bookstore.

Yay Jamison!! I just found your video. It was so awesome meeting you. I hope you come back to Santa Cruz. Sadly many of the locations got destroyed in the Loma Prieta earthquake of 1989, but you can still kind of see where they once stood. 😃

Hi jamison I'm planning a trip over to Santa Cruz from the UK are there location tours available or do you have to plan it yourselves? Love the idea for Pogonip hope it's becomes a reality

I think you have to plan it yourself but I hope there are tours in the future! Maybe ask around and talk to the locals.

I believe he moved the store because of damage from an earthquake. I just watched a KZbin video a couple weeks ago of Lost Boys locations that had a lot of good information.
