Thank you so much for uploading this! Halloween 3 is criminally underrated and one of my favorites in the franchise. As much as I love Michael Myers, the idea of an anthology series of Halloween-themed horror films with a different story, characters, etc. had the potential to be a success. The problem was the title included the number, indicating that it's a sequel to the other films even though it's not. I think they should have re-titled Halloween 3 to something like "Halloween: Season of the Witch" or maybe "Season of the Witch: A Halloween Story" and continued making those anthology films while still doing the Michael Myers movies. Then they could have made more money off of the franchise by doing it both ways.

@@onesixthmania7293 -- Carpenter and Hill & Company had a list of potential Halloween-themed tales. The next one was supposed to be a ghost story. I really hope that tale is still sitting in a file somewhere, and, now that Halloween (2018) is a blockbuster holiday hit, Universal/Miramax/Blumhouse will collaborate on creating the anthology films, picking up where SOTW left off in 1982. Hey, a great idea would be to make the ghost story tale, and set it in the mid-1980s...this way, you get great '80s nostalgia (a big ticket item in the 21st Century, of late) w/ a brand new tale being told in the classic modern heyday of American/British Horror antiheroes, like Michael, Jason, Freddy, and Pinhead.

Really enjoyed watching this movie. It was different and had a dark side to it. The music score was fantastic. A very underrated film that was just a joy to watch. Thanks for posting.

this was better than some of the other ones and i bet a lot of people agree with me
@AbbaLeStrange6 жыл бұрын
@Michael Halloween 3 isn't better then 4, but i will agree on 5, 5 was horrible and the characters especially Tina were annoying as fuck, when michael killed her i didn't feel bad for her at all. Halloween 3 is a good movie on it's own though, i used to hate it for the same reason most people do, watching it again i've kinda grown to like it. oh and i'd put this one over resurrection and rob zombie's any day, those ones sucked.

Tommy Lee Wallace, if you are reading this I will tell you, for me, this movie is one of my top 5 movies of all time. The plot, the way it is shot, the mystery and the soundtrack all blend together so well. Very unique film. I hold it near and dear to my heart. It never gets old.

That first guy that spoke in the video says "Not having Michael Meyers in it was a stupid idea" , .. . but no, I think it was really the MOVIE GOING MASS PUBLIC who DEMANDED that he be in it that was STUPID, not that decision on the part of the filmmakers.

@@boomstickcritique902 Your completely correct. If they wanted to do a different type of Halloween movie every year, which in hindsight its a clever idea, they never should have had Michael Myers in the 2nd movie.

Like many others, when I first saw Halloween III as a kid, I was confused and upset because Michael was nowhere to be found. However, when I got older, I decided to give it another chance and have loved it ever since. Imo, Season of the Witch is an underrated cult classic that deserves all the praise it gets.

I absolutely love the movie. The mistake was calling it Halloween 3, as the audience presumed Michael Myers would be in it ,and then immediately rejected it when they realized the movie had nothing to do with him. If they'd given it a different title, or just called it Season of the Witch, it might have had more success. It's a great story and is genuinely creepy. And Tom is right, in that we Irish people can be quite wicked under our cheer sometimes. 😜 But I can't imagine anyone wanting to hit him, he seems like a dear man.

This movie is freaking awesome in my opinion. Watch it on a Friday night like 11 pm or later. Living room, super dark with the volume super high. That intro music, and kicks off with a man running away from some human like robots in pitch dark. I think it was phenomenal. Very underrated.
