I got one from Amazon. It shipped in a day and I sent it back the very next day. I didn’t even make it 10 rows. It kept locking up. I turned it off for 30 seconds and tried it. Then for a minute. I even unplugged it and it and let it sit. It never got unstuck. I am very disappointed.

Sad to hear that. Glad mine hasn't done that. Did it do that without yarn? Maybe the yarn was too thick

@@TheAddiQueen Thanks. Yes, I couldn’t believe it but it did it without yarn too, which is why I returned it. I’m glad yours is working though. The beanie looks great!

@@cookie761 I thought about it. But, I went thru three Sentro’s before I finally gave up and got an Addi.

@@gramcracker2023 I have both the Addi and the Sentro. I have lots of knitting machines! But they're all different sizes and if you need a scarf that's not too wide, you need a smaller machine. The big Sentro has more hooks on it so you make a little bit bigger hat and I think the material ends up a little bit looser, so I can actually make a hat on that machine that will fit my huge head!

I thought about buying one of these but then I remembered that I have an adapter for my cordless screwdriver, so I wouldn't have to buy another machine. I think there is also an attachable motor available that might be more automatic for people who don't want to hold a screwdriver. So, there may be other options. I think the screwdriver adapter is also available for the Sentro.

I would personally let it have breaks to cool down, but i think that it could handle a blanket.

Hi Addi Queen, just curious how you would rate the Jamit now, after having it a while? I have an Addi King, just wondering how it compares? Also, how many rows do you knit for your beanies? Love your videos.

It is an okay machine. I would rate it about a 7/10. It is loud and gets hot quickly. But, it does serve it's intended purpose. It doesn't trop very many stitches and is consistent. I wish it had more than one speed.

I am watching your video on the Jammit knitting machines. It's going clockwise. my machine is going counterclockwise. How did you get yours to operate clockwise?

That's the way it came. Maybe switch it into plain knitting and then back over to circular?

Where do you buy your pom poms ? I like the ones with the elastic and if they don't have elastic, I sew some on. Because then I can make it totally removable so it's not messed up in the washer or dryer. I use a button on the inside of the hat and just use a needle to thread the double layers of the elastic through the cinch holes. Then wrap one side of the elastic around the button a couple of times. I've made thousands of hats and nobody has ever complained that it's removable or that it's ever fallen off.

Can you show how the counter works?. I bought the counter with the magnet inside and it gets hung up between the magnet and the yellow piece. Which counter do you have

I wouldn't leave it constantly running. I haven't had any melting issues yet.
