The SH 101 is one of the nicest sounding synths ever made in my opinion. It can be great for ambient, acid, industrial, techno, etc. It's so rich and punchy, yet calm.

This made me not only want a Aira S-1, but a Volca Beats. I think the volca beats is the drum machine I've heard (and I'm usually super picky with drum sounds)

Just any minijack cable works. They recommend mono, but I use stereo and it works anyway.

I think in the manual they reccomand mono. I often used stereo because I have more of those around and they actually work.

Will Roland be fixing the product defect of there being no MIDI Volume (CC07) support in the S-1?

I wasn't aware of this issue. Maybe a firmware update could fix it. Try to write Roland about it, who knows
