Ofcourse they do it. It's listed in UNESCO intangible heritage list. But whatever they are doing isn't enough. And what about society. Why always blame it on government. How many of us appreciate their art, except those hotel dances. Will you pay same for their concert as you pay for other concerts. I wish we become better citizens by acknowledging our heritage more. Do you know it's not just kalbelia community but many local artisan communities that face economic hardships due to endangered culture. For example dashavatar in MH . But recently their is revival that art.
