Lived in India for two years while my sister worked at the embassy, these people actually want your money and not friendship, kids are great for learning the language, they make the best teachers and see it as fun, I always bought them candy, wish KZbin was around in the 90s I’d have uploaded my travels around Asia. You should have went to more cosmopolitan areas of Calcutta and away from the slums, see the difference in attitudes coz the educated and higher class there think they’re better than others, this is why rich Indians don’t look after the poor but exploit them.

No. Even the Muslims are from eastern UP & Bihar. There is too much destitution in these 2 areas of the country. Their first instinct is survival and Kolkata is the nearest. As for Bangladeshis & Rohingyas even the corrupt BSF (also manned largely by people from North Indian "Hindi speaking" states) has to keep themselves in check. They may also have unofficial instructions to let the Hindus come but others also slip through. All the Bangladeshis around my house are Hindus and I am yet to meet a Rohingya. While Hindus are discriminated against Bangladeshi Muslims do not need to come when they are doing well on economic and social indices compared to India as a whole and certainly our Northern states. Also if you are an Indian you should be able to judge the broad region a person is from by the accent he/she speaks Hindi/English.

I told everyone, India is the last place I ever wish to be, because I have an Indian Neighbour who amongst every thing suggested I cut the tree in my garden. In this video here Ruksana is very sweet and her people. She has everything. So beautiful in her environment. They are the nicest people you ever meet. I would not mind spending time with them.

There are tons of people like me who are eager to assist. And remember, when you're in India, always bargain and trust that not everyone is out to cheat you!
