The sound engineers on this project are JUST as important as the musicians and vocalists. Big ups to all of the sound engineers out there who are like an extension of us musicians’ passion-the pulse that pumps our blood through the audience.

Amen. Whoever mic’d those drums and mixed everything down needs a pay rise. The reverb on vocals, keys, guitar, drums and bass are all different. Perfect balance. Nice bottom end on the vocals, still kept the vocals out front, while still sharing the 10k-20k hertz.

They cant really hear them during live, only thru amps and such that's why it wasnt as hyped. You can even see Cory Henry signaling the tech to turn him up on the house. They do this so that the tech can get a really good signal without too much bleed from the microphones

I watch this at least once a week. The vibe, the artistry, the genius that is Corey Henry. Lawwwwwwwd have mercy. He's anointed for sure. And his band. Hallelujah. This is by far one of the best live performances ever. B. Slade. I fell on the floor! This whole performance was soul. Enlightenment. Spiritual. Real. Transformative. Errrrrbody was on! Wow! We went to church!

@@jayemz7384 Nah, Corey by himself has been an issue LONG BEFORE he started playing with Snarky. All love and respect to Tonex but the man is mainly known as a singer. Corey is a multi instrumentalist and NOW he's killing it on vocals too. With all due respect, there's no comparison; I reiterate--COREY BLOWS THEM OUT OF THE WATER! Feel free to say otherwise, but numbers don't lie.
@jayemz7384
@jayemz7384 5 жыл бұрын
Simon Mitchell Corey is only riding off snarky puppys success where as tonex has been around for ages doing collabs with many artists including the great snoop dogg! Oh and sharay reed has played for many great artists as well! Especially that one vid that’s probably the most viewed gospel bass shred in youtube history ! Now dont get me wrong Corey henry is a great musician but vocals mmmmhhmm tonex kills him!
@uraharamitchell7250
@uraharamitchell7250 5 жыл бұрын
@@jayemz7384 Let me repeat myself with all due respect and humility intended; Cory was poppin BEFORE he joined Snarky, if anything, it was DOOBIE POWELL that got the world familiar with him, furthermore, Snarky Puppy became more of the success they are BECAUSE OF cory and not the other way around. Out of the three, Cory, Tonex and Sharay, the world most likely knows more about Cory than the other two. Furthermore, Cory is the only one among them to win a grammy.
