He is the one who sees it - stares at it - in historical perspective. These others from Kashmir may be good journalists. But the problem did not begin in 1947 , when we , not the pandits as such, were fully cleansed on the other side , or in 1989 , when we were already totally vulnerable in the valley . They all say "the Indian State " , and certainly , the State handled it badly , not just in J&K , but in Assam , Bengal , the NE , Kerala , all over . The most sensible person on the panel is Ashish Dhar. He is trying to drill some logical ideas in the people. He tries to understand the root cause of the problem (demography change being one) and does not shy away from being politically incorrect as hypocritical elites of India do. I am pretty sure, 1000% sure that what happened with Kashmiri Hindus (actually there have been 7 exodus of kashmiri hindus from Kashmir historically) will happen in any region of India where the population of indian religions goes down. Take for example Kerala, Hindus in 0-4years age group are already minority. I predict in 20 when followers of islam will be majority and in 20s, expect several other exodus of Keralite Hindus. Same story applies to Assam, West Bengal. Kairana, Mewat. One has to be really blind and dumb to ignore such blunt trends. And it has happened in other countries as well. Thats how countries are and were Islamized.

In one incidence my close friend Assistant Commandant Ajaynand Tiwari and 5 BSF Soldiers including Instructor Havaldar Deshraj were martyred by deliberate collision by heavy loaded Truck on GT Road by Militants.There were many instances.In out MT of unit many damaged vehicles due to mine blast were kept.In one incident Deputy Commandant (Retd.Commandant) Bhati Sir and Deputy Commandant Suhag Sir badly injured and became Medical Category. There were many many cases of attacks/ambush on Army,BSF,CRPF in Punjab States along with many many CRIMES on Hindu Punjabis. The Khalistan Militants were strategically more organized,fearsome,knowing military tactics of soldier than Kashmiri Militants. The Mumbai Film industry is dominated by Punjabi Hindus.I request the filmmakers of Mumbai to make a Movie on Crimes on Hindus in Punjab State during Khalistan movement so that sufferers will get Justice after 27 years.

I said don't read the history written by Sikhs as they are biased... and Gurbilas patshahi is not even a history book... there are so many text written at the time of Aurangzeb which were written by Muslims and Iranians which says Guru Teg bhagadur was killed because he supported Dara Shikoh and of course he was asked to convert to islam because as per islamic law they give one chance to convert them... and 12 Kashmiri Pandits were also beheaded with Guru Teg Bahhadur who refused to convert.. and there is no question of sacrificing for Kashmiri pandits..

None of the speakers know the working style of Modi-Amit Shah duo. All these people may have to eat their words on how New Delhi will deal with J&K after abrogation of 370. I say this with certainty because I have seen Modi-Shah operating style in Gujarat. Modi-Shah will deal with J&K conclusively with out getting stuck in the academic argument of whether Kashmir is a religious problem or political problem or both.

Whatever the condition at present, there cold be just two outcomes. Number one : Things will cool down, and Kashmiries will accept to be with India. Number TWO - other countries may intervene and compel Govt of India to declare Independence to Kashmir. If it happens on say 1st of January 2020, on 2nd Jan, Pakisthan will take over and on say 6th day China will occupy.

Superb discussion by the panel of journalists which debated the issue threadbare. The best on the topic I saw so far. Great job by Republic. It has not come out clearly but losing the status statehood is a big snub to people of Kashmir Valley (interestingly, Jammu and Ladakh dont feel so). Recycling of politicians is undesirable, but most probably going to happen. Empowering the silent majority to speak out and to take part in the political process is very important.
