yes, Jonathan. behind you on this with Reva. thank you for calling her on her bullshit. sure, there is room for Jonathan to grow as a human but Reva is acting like a plain fool up in here.

Sandy brought this all on himself, but Tammy let Cassie manipulate her into blaming it all on Jonathan and punishing Jonathan for what Sandy did. It never made any sense. I guess she just regressed emotionally. I never understood Reva's reaction either. Going to Sandy when she should have been going to comfort her real (and lucky to be alive) son, Jonathan. Sandy was going to kill Tammy and then was going to kill Jonathan. He was a complete psycho. Cassie revealed herself to be a complete freaking psycho too, blaming Tammy and emotionally abusing and manipulating her the way she did. Locking Tammy in that morgue with Sandy was cruel, psychological torture meant to break her emotional strength. HORRIBLE MOTHER! I really hated her character after this. Anyway, the writing got really convoluted after this. It didn't make any sense whatsoever other than a way to break them up so Jon could have a drunken one night stand with Lizzie. The writing really went off the rails, IMO. It was only that TP and SG were so amazing together that kept watching once Lizzie was shoved into the Jammy story.

Reva was such a turncoat. Sandy did so much damage from the moment he set foot in Springfield but never got the blame for it. It was always Jonathan’s fault. Crazy such a stupid detail like that ultimately destroyed Jonathan and Tammy permanently.

Cassie used psychological abuse to brainwash Tammy into blaming Jonathan for what Sandy caused and to emotionally break her. What a horrible, cruel, control freak of a mother.

in some ways after a tragic accident people can break up but this was way over the top and just stupid. it really makes one hate cassie, reva, and josh. they don't come out smelling like a rose in this, and it was all done to manipulate tammy into a corner and make her a weak person who can't handle life.

let's see. sandy lied about who he was. up and left a wife. started up a school he never needed to be at because he was older than Jonathan (how old we never found out). to me it sounds like he did try to kill Jonathan to take over his life. realized Tammy didn't love him but played manipulative games to make her stay with him. oh, and he stalked Tammy ending with nearly killing her and or Jonathan (for the second attempted murder). I mean...yeah. great parenting Cassie and Josh, it's def Jonathan who is the problem. seriously messed up writing here.

Cassie doesn’t even care that Sandy was gonna kill Tammy and that Jon traded places with her to save her life. The storyline really went off the rails here. Sandy was the bad guy in this, and they all act like it was Jonathan. This part of the storyline pisses me off every time I watch it. If not for Cassie and Josh doing what they did, Tammy would have never broken up with Jonathan. The drunken ONS with Lizzie would never have happened, and Tammy and Jon could have lived happily ever ever. But instead, the break-up that happened because of Cassie’s psychological abuse, sets off the whole chain of events that leads to Tammy’s death.

Jonathan should have just let Tammy move on with Sandy! Both would have been still alive and happy. After Sandys death Jonathan still hurt Tammy so much and she ended up dead anyways....not worth it!

@@cuteclassi2004 Except Sandy had major issues and she didn't really seem like she wanted him. It's not a great sign when you are constantly cheating on someone and full of as much doubt as she was. I don't think she would have been that happy with him and he'd still be keeping secrets from her.

Cassie is so fuckin' annoying. But it's Tammy's fault too, because she should've been straight with Sandy from the beginning and he would've been alive. #BadWriting #ButIWantGuidingLightBack

Cassie actually locked her daughter in a room with the corpse of a psychotic stalker who tried to kill her and her boyfriend. So cold and cruel.

It seems odd to me that I wrote the previous comment, but after watching Cassie talking about the trauma of having her child forcefully taken from her arms, I am reminded of current headlines and felt compelled to write. As a mother, every time I've watched this 'scripted' episode it was gut wrenching. To know this is happening to children and parents everywhere, everyday due to their parent's decisions to cross borders, in order to find a safer life for them, is heart breaking.

Oh, what some parents do to their children trying to 'fix' them, when in reality, they are still trying to fix themselves. Sorry, Cassie, your heart may be in the right place, but it's hard to watch what you're doing to your daughter. Great segment; painful to see.

First, let me just say that I love the Jonathan and Tammy story as much as I love the Michelle and Danny story. However I can’t help but feel that Jonathan was extremely manipulative in this matter: Instead of making Sandy look bad, he and Ava should have gone to Tammy and told her that Sandy and Ava were already married. Even if the divorce had been properly finalized, Sandy still lied and Tammy needed to know that before she went to the altar. If she realized that she was engaged to a liar who had no intention of telling her that he was already married during their engagement, then maybe she would have embraced Jonathan in a healthier manner. I know that Jonathan wanted her to choose him in front of all of Springfield, but she could’ve done that without him having put her through this hell. Yes, Sandy went crazy, but he either would have been properly incarcerated as a result or maybe they still would have killed him off and Tammy would not have felt so guilty about his death. If the writers had gone about this differently first-the concept of Jonathan loving Tammy enough to present her with the truth before her wedding to Sandy-then none of these characters would’ve had to go through all of this trauma; Jonathan wouldn’t have had a drunken one night stand with Lizzie, allowing them the chance for Tammy to get pregnant instead so that she would be Sarah‘s mother, and then Tammy wouldn’t have been killed by Alan. But the writers decided to create a manipulative scenario instead, in which Tammy’s character was killed off so that the remaining years of the show could focus more on “family.” The only reason Tammy promised God that she would commit herself to Sandy was so that he would survive being electrocuted. But after hearing the truth properly, I’m pretty sure the god of soap operas would have understood if she left Sandy for Jonathan. I honestly don’t care that they were half-cousins because in my mind there wasn’t enough of a blood relation between them to cause a problem. I just care about the way Tammy was manipulated and lied to by both men which ultimately led to the tragic end this of their storyline. Don’t get me wrong. Like I said, I love the Jonathan and Tammy storyline and could care less about their minimal blood relation. But setting a manipulative stage for starting fires and someone getting killed does not create the start of a truly healthy relationship.
