@@khmoraniga5978 it's not a scene in the show per say, but if you look up the ED MV for this song, it depicts eren and mikasa together as children and adults along with heavy symbology associated with death/funerals. I figure they put this into the MV as to please both those who wanted Eren and Mikasa to be separated and those who wanted to see them together, since the former can just disregard the MV as canon, while the latter can accept the MV as canon. In any case, the producers and the author would have had to give the nod to any MV, so both interpretations are equally valid.

This ending is so bittersweet it hurts. But it sounds and feels so pretty too. The lyrics depicting Mikasa's dedication, the things she wish they could experience together as lovers, but sadly they couldn't really be together to begin with. It really is a cruel, but beautiful world. Even if not reciprocated personally, I'm glad we got confirmation on what Eren really felt about her. Only thing that gives me peace after this ending, really.

This anime is a masterpiece and the ones who refuse to watch it because its an anime, theyre missing a big thing in their life. AoT and Hajime Isayama-san taught me the anime doesn't necessary mean dark or absurdist humor and ecchi/hentai elements. Without discovering it in 2015 and giving a try, I wouldn't watch anime and read manga today. I was at my lowest point back in 2021, My great grandmother passed away at the time and I was stuck in that dark place for a while. One day, I heard so much abt Aot from my friends that in march of 2021, I decided to watch Aot to understand what was the hype. It didn't take long til I fell in Love with Aot. It was a sad, gory, and chaotic anime, but I felt happy because in some way I felt their pain of losing a loved one and how much I personally relate to eren. Even if people may find that cringy to hear, Idc. For what this series did for me at the time is something that I will never forget and balled my eyes out knowing that I read the manga and still cried. I freed myself from that dark place and got back up when never forgetting Eren's words To Keep Moving Forward. Attack On Titan will always be my Favorite Modern Anime of All!

I always go about memorizing the AOT osts and singing them. Akuma no Ko moved me to tears several times but still eventually I could, I feel both sad and happy hearing/singing it... Even though I knew there would be no happy ending. And I fully accept the ending hurts that Mikasa and Eren could never be together. Both ending songs hit hard. In this song at the end of the episode, when Mikasa is sitting under a tree, the lyrics go something like "However much I wail on the passing seasons, you are gone forever and I will never get you back." 😭💔 On the one hand, Eren pursued his own dream, ignoring everything and everyone, and on the other hand, he also wanted other things that he couldn't have. On the one hand, it's good that Mikasa was the one who ended everything, but on the other, it's so unfair and sad that she had to sacrifice so much.
