Heyo! If you ever decide to play this mod again just a heads up that in the movie the tripods are pretty much invincible (shield) unless you get picked up by one in the cage and blow it up from the inside, they get sick due to bacteria in the world and their shields come down, or you hit them in the legs as the movie never really confirmed if the legs were shielded or not, just the head piece lol. Not sure if this translates into the mod but it might explain why you can't hit/damage them anywhere else BUT the legs. Also the blood is their way of "terraforming" the world. It's a key factor in knowing if they are dying as the blood will turn white when the tripod who sprayed it is sick/infected or weak. Again not sure if this translates into the mod but it seems blood is present in the game so maybe it is! Also yeah these types of creatures are movement based, as in its better to just stay on the move and take em down as you go along or else they will keep spawning on top of you, their lore is that they follow/track humans so might explain why so many were near you. Just gotta keep on your toes XD Great video either way and hope this helps!

@@Jamsteo so the best way to notice and one there are no such thing as a harvester. a harvester is the same as a normal tripod but people say there is a "harvester tripod" if you watch the scene where the tripod gets shot down by the U.S. Army you can see it has the tentacles hanging out with the heat rays showing. due to the movie was suppose to have the black smoke but they didn't add it. A uberpod is a bigger version than a normal tripod. these boys can shoot far range, give out orders and they have 5 spot lights but a normal tripod only have 3 spotlights
